"This evening it was our first visit to Dilli Haat, Westbourne. When we arrived we had to wait a little while for our table to be available which is understandable as its only a small restaurant. Once we got sat down at our table there was a long wait before we got seen too. In fact two couples who came in after us were served first and both were given their starters while we weren't even acknowledged. Once we eventually got served after around a 30 minute wait, our starters were very good, the mains and sides were also up to a pretty good standard. I must also say that the amount available on the menu was also really good. If you're a veggie or a vegan they do accommodate. The massive let down was the poor service. One of the waitresses was friendly but overall the level of service wasn't good enough for a restaurant that was charging quite a lot of money for the food it was providing. Once again I can't knock the food at all. It was really good. So yes, our first experience of Dilli Haat wasn't great so at this moment in time we haven't yet decided If we will be returning or not."
