"Nova Sushi is now my FAVE restaurant for sushi (and Green Tea Ice Cream)! The Spicy Tuna Roll was the best I have ever tasted. Simple and bursting with fresh tuna flavor with subtle other flavors like enhanced heaven. The Sushi Big Mac knocked flavor town out of the park. I also recommend the Hot Lady Roll. The topping of white tuna melted in my mouth. Finishing with the green tea ice cream made our night. I suggested to the manager that they switch from Hershey’s chocolate to one which matches the very high level of taste of their fare, such as Ghirardelli’s or Torani’s chocolate sauce. My girlfriend and I will be back soon!!! Also, the waitress, Mary, was very friendly and attentive."

"This restaurant is amazing. first we were great by their amazing coworkers who immediately sat and took our orders. eating came fast and it was very fresh and delicious! it was hard to find something almost as good since it was in japan, but that really hit the place! I would highly recommend to come early (we came as soon as they were opened because they fill out very quickly."

"My 7 colleagues and I went there for an informal business lunch. I booked a reservation. The host was nice and personable, he made jokes. We thought, 'okay so far, so good. ' There were barely 10 guests in the restaurant at the time. But during the almost 2 hours that we were there, service was EXTREMELY SLOW. It took over an hour for 3 of us to receive our teas and lemonade. The food came out sporadically. Mine was lukewarm and my manager 's was dry. One of my team members actually walked towards the kitchen window and got his food from the waitress. However, he NEVER RECEIVED THE 2ND PORTION OF HIS FOOD. Water glasses were empty. For the last 30-35 minutes that we were there, we didn 't even see our server again. When we were leaving, we spoke to 1 of the managers (who was sitting with another manager, having an enjoyable lunch of their own it seemed). She was calm and adjusted the bill for the unreceived food and she also offered some type of 'friendship card ' (I forgot the actual name of it) that could be used at any of their restaurants. However, I turned it down. What mostly bothered me about this experience wasn 't just the bad service. It was the lack of urgency on the part of the servers and the poor leadership. It seemed as if none of them thought anything was wrong or even understood WHY we were so bothered. We definitely didn 't tip."

"There aren’t any Japanese bbq around, so gyu-kaku is kind of the only option. I had higher expectation, but I found the food mediocre. The meat are not cut to same size or shape, and I find a lot of them way too thick. I love beef tongue, but the first plate that came out doesn’t look fresh at all. We sent it back and they brought out a way better looking plate, and apologize saying the beef tongue are normally served frozen. Unlike the many other reviews, I thought the service was pretty good. The meat does take a while to get served, but the waiter was very attentive and check on us from time to time."

"Love their soft serve. Matcha is delicious as well as their rotating flavors. I'm often disappointed that they have plain vanilla as their one rotating flavor. Wish they had more flavors on offer so that I had a reason to visit. Their hojicha and ube are amazing and I've only ever seen them available once."
