"Very busy at lunch time in Brisbane CBD.I ordered a small beef yakiudon and some spring rolls.About a 5-10 minute wait so not too bad.Very generous serving even for a small size.I couldn't eat all of it.Kids/anyone can watch the food being prepared through window. A good value cheap eat."

"Good value sushi train with touch screen ordering.<br> It's mostly authentic, in quick cheap format.<br> <br> The touch screen means you can order hot items easily and have then fresh.<br> <br> Main complaints is lining up. To both enter and to pay.<br> That said, can hardly be surprised given its both reasonable value, location and quality.<br> <br> This now out-ranks Haniachi in terms of recommendation for sushi train.<br> <br>"

"One of our absolute favourite places to go, unfortunately relocated a bit further out of the CBD but still close enough. I give it a high rating because it follows what's most important to me: You can crave it, they will always satisfy you (in flavour and quantity), and it never worries us whether we can afford having it.<br> <br> Kadoya's best feature is that it's always worth the money, you're never left dissatisfied neither with quantity or quality of food.<br> <br> They have an assortment of popular Japanese style dishes, but definitely their most important dishes are the Curry katsu chicken and pork; their curry sauce is always perfect and the customisable amount of heat is very helpful. Your typical serving comes with plenty of rice, a small side of salad with vinagrette, some pickled ginger for the heat and a nice quality serving of crumbed chicken or pork.&nbsp;<br> <br> It's important to remember that with every full dish you can add a Ramen or Udon at a heavily discounted price, so you can transform your $11 chicken into a $16 ramen soup plus chicken curry two course meal.<br> <br> I also am a big fan of their tempura because it's always perfectly crispy and the vegetables are very well cooked, the carrots end creamy and sweet and the prawns have this fabulous coating, they're also always fresh (no fishyness!).&nbsp;<br> <br> The Ramen/Udon aren't perfect, but they're a good price and a lot of people seem to be happy to go there for it as well. Please be aware Ramen is definitely popular, but quite a few arent as happy with the Udon, so you may want to avoid it.&nbsp;<br> <br> This place is crazy popular with UberEats and Deliveroo and with uni students because of their price to quality ratio.&nbsp;<br> <br> The locale itself is so-so, sadly it isn't the best decorated but instead more encouraging to have a quick meal and chat and leave; staff are always very, very polite though."

"This place used to be so busy and opened very late everyday. Advertises as a Japanese restaurant but is actually a Korean restaurant. With majority of its meals being korean and a few items being japanese but the japanese meals were poorly cooked. It had too much of a korean influence on the japanese dishes and therefore tasted funny. The one thing that really annoyed me and my friends which ultimately made us always go next door to Maru korean restaurant is the waitstaff. The korean male waiters were very snobby and up themselves. Every time we wanted to order more beers he would hesitate as if we were being a nuisance. The female waitstaff were generally much more helpful but of course never smiled. It's hard to come back when you don't feel welcomed. We actually preferred the ambience of warawara over maru and it is a better place to drink however the staff are just too rude and typical snobby korean men. I have to say I'm sure they have lost a lot of return customers because of their waitstaff. Won't be long now till this place closes down unless it can address the staffing issues."
