"Ordered boba tea for my daughter’s birthday. I was able to order it it in larger portions (for 50 people) at a great price too. It was such a hit at the party and the drinks and tapioca were delicious. I have to say they have it down with their tapioca being so soft and the perfect texture. Love this location! Also the owner took care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed."

"I'm not one to normally write a review, but to not share my experience would be doing the community a disservice.I got to the restaurant with my plus one at 7:30. There was one other person in the restaurant. We were sat down by a middle-aged woman with black hair and she prompty asked if we were ready to order. We hadn't been given a literal minute to look over the menu. I told her no and she then explains that the restaurant would be closing in 30 minutes; although the website and Google state 8:45 PM. I said okay and to come back in 5 minutes. She returns and we place our order. Shortly after she returns with the food. 40 minutes later, she never returns. We finished eating 20 or so minutes after getting our food, recalling they were closing at 8 PM. I can hear her around the corner talking to someone, so I turn the corner to find her on FaceTime. I ask for the check and she states that she will bring it to the table. Ten minutes later, she is still on FaceTime but does not bring the check. At this point I have gone from slightly aggravated to annoyed. I walk over and ask for the check and she says that I can pay at the terminal. Why tell me that you will bring the check over if I can pay at the counter? I ask for the itemized copy of the receipt, given all I can see is a total. I pay and ask for a to-go container.I will not return given the treatment from the one and only staff seen with an empty restaurant and I would advise you to avoid dining in at all cost."

"I don't understand why this place has such a high rating..... I've been here twice, once a few days ago at the venue for dinner and today for lunch takeout. I ordered Soondubu (spicy tofu stew) before and pork katsu today. Soondubu was below par, with the soup barely thick as it's supposed to be. They even put crab stick in the jjijae, which is very unusal and cheap. Not to mentioned that I paid around $17 with tax and tip for this mushy porridge. My friend had pork katsu at the time and it was decent, so I ordered pork katsu for lunch takeout today and I was disappointed again. Donkatsu was so hard to chew to the point where my jaws hurt. And it seemed like they used old meat and it tasted funky too. I'm glad that Evanston has another Korean place, but I don't think this place would last long without significant changes..... As someone who's raised in Seoul, both of the dishes I tried are barely edible stuff in Korea."
