"I reckon this place does better side dishes than ramen.<br/ <br/ Tried the karaage chicken it was so crispy on the out and juicy on the in.<br/ <br/ The gyoza was one of the best I have had. Sooo juicy and lovely filling. The dough is very thin.<br/ <br/ It was an enjoyable dining experience and all staff was friendly."

"Went to this place last minute towards the end of the night and the sushi thats been on the train for hours were dry! Definitely recommend ordering through the ipad or asking for a fresh serve. Food was really nice to eat! The green tea mochi was a little bit of a miss but definitely try the strawberry one if you’re a mochi fan! This place is worth trying : <br/"

"I have been here a number of times with my friend on our lunch break. We've always had a good experience however, the service here could be better. <br/ Nonetheless, I've tried the vegetarian croquette, the Shujinko Ramen, the Miso Ramen, the Tsukemen and also their Yaki Ramen (which is dry, just like fried noodles). The food has always been good and the prices are pretty decent for what you get. <br/ <br/ Their Matcha Ice cream is also super delicious. It's the perfect dessert to be honest worth it."

"I came here last night for dinner around 8pm. My partner and I ordered for starter Takoyaki Balls with cheese $2 more for cheese), the Blank Tonkatsu and the Volcano ramen. The Black Tonkatsu tasted like mushroom ramen, broth was beautiful. The volcano was meant to be spicy.. however it was only a kick. Remember to have a lot of tissues if you’re doing the volcano, you’ll sweat in a very tight squeezed dining area. The only downside was the fact that the mains came before the entree and the broth were both lukewarm. $51 for two mains, one entree and a glass of sake!"

"Unassuming, simple restaurant that you would probably miss on your evening stroll down Bourke Road. My boyfriend and I were looking for something to eat Friday after work. It was 5.30 so a lot of the places were only starting to open for their dinner rush. Kopan Grill was where we set our sights if only because it looked nice and cosy, and we were getting really cold. I 'm so glad that we ended up stopping here! Simple, inexpensive food, with very attentive service. <br/ <br/ Prawn spring rolls 3/5 these are more like money bags than spring rolls. I didn 't like these, but didn 't hate them. The noodle cut through the creaminess of the prawn, which I enjoyed. <br/ Volcano grilled sushi 4.5/5 the small serving comes with 4 pieces, and the large comes with 8. Loved it so much that we got a small serving first, then a large one afterwards. The sushi pieces themselves aren 't that big and are very easy to eat. Whilst it 's called 'Volcano ', those who cannot handle chilli should not be deterred. It is not overly spicy. I 'd say it 's more subtle with its kick and I really enjoyed this. Would recommend the salmon over the tuna. <br/ KFC 4.5/5 I love Korean Fried Chicken and I loved Kopan Grill 's take on Korean Fried Chicken. It 's as simple as that. <br/ Curry rice with prawn 3.5/5 can 't really go wrong with curry rice and it was a really easy way to warm up that cold night. Very rich and filling. Would have enjoyed it more if it were a bit spicier but I like spicy food so that 's my word on it. <br/ <br/ To get your Korean and Japanese fix, visit Kopan Grill!! For winter nights the hot citron tea is also delicious!"

"We had a lovely dinner at Tokosan on a Friday night. The place is conveniently located just less than 5 mins walk from Prahran station. Upon walking in, we immediately fell in love with the decoration!!! It has a very modern Japanese vibe like the name Tokosan (see pictures). As for food, we ordered Pork ribbies, tempura prawn, raw spicy tuna (temaki rolls), salmon and tuna sashimi combo and drinks. Food came out so quickly and service was friendly. The sashimi dish was very fresh and the hand roll sushi were flavourful. The ribbies were paired perfectly with dippin sauce and it’s an interesting dish. We would highly recommend this place for a party functions or just a chill night out."

"Delicious food, small share plates and reasonably priced. Not the best ambiance and staff whilst friendly were a little lost, but worth it for the food which was very tasty. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst..."
