"Lovely classic surroundings in the centre of a Chester. Staff from doormen to waiting staff were polite attentive and delightful. My wife is gluten intolerant and her afternoon tea was every bit as tasty and varied as mine. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and tastefully served and more tea coffee and sandwiches were offered but none were needed) . Bought as a present , we didn’t quite know what to expect and thought it might not be our cup of tea no pun intended) but it was a lovely and we really enjoyed it."
