"Phone ordered my food so I could get in and out as soon as possible. Arrived to what I thought was in luck only one person ahead of me. I was mistaken. Even though my food was already cooked and waiting getting anyone to take payment was a problem. Was worked around by the cashier that started the transaction to accommodate other of the few people that already had their food. When I turned to talk to either the manager or the owner. I knew it would do little good to call and complain. Especially since his very unbelievable excuse that they were very busy. The restaurant was pretty much empty! Don't waste time going here.. go to Los altenos or any place other than here.. The service is non existent and the food is no longer worth it.. I'm Hispanic.. the food is now tasting like it comes out of a can..non traditional food."

"Not authentic at all. not even close, also not that good. i came here with high hopes; the old fashioned look of the place, the spanish music playing loudly and the attached mexican candy store really made me think this was going to be like the mexican restaurants in the valley or at least like los altos up here but nope! it was very taco bell like. definitely appealing to the white folks who aren’t from the valley and think taco bell or chipotle is real mexican food. either way two stars cuz the rice and beans were bomb."

"Agave may be the be the best Mexican food I?ve ever eaten. My wife and I are on a cross country road trip and we?re staying in Flagstaff. As usual we went looking for the best reviews and found Agave! Our server was awesome. Our food was amazing!! Loved it!"

"We picked up food from here for lunch since we had a long day on the road. Everything was really good. We got the wrap which was really yummy. The avocado toast was good too and the house potatoes were yumm! Can't go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool place to dine in, in the area."

"If the biscuits and gravy are on the specials board when you visit, TRY IT. Omg. I ordered the $15 gluten free and vegan biscuits and gravy with potatoes and was SHOCKED that this gravy tasted like the regular pork and gluten filled gravy. I was born in Texas. I know what this dish tastes like as I've had it a zillion times before my Celiac diagnosis. This version was better than the regular versions and the potatoes were great (and cooked separately not to be cross contaminated with gluten. You might think it sounds suspicious and that they're using the real pork or wheat flour to make such a good gravy. No again, I have Celiac disease and if this gravy or the biscuits had gluten, I'd be doubled over sick, not writing Yelp reviews in bed. I also had a $7 Golden milk latte with certified gluten free oat milk. I forgot to specify unsweetened and was so relieved that it came unsweetened. It makes me think they're making it from scratch unlike every other place that uses powders. My husband got a $4 cup of coffee but he should have ordered breakfast. They have some outdoor seating as well as a few booths, but don't come expecting to bring a group, it's tiny! If you're in Flagstaff and need some gluten free options, come here! "I love salsa here in Kachina. Serrano paprika make it a little spicy than other places, but the pieces of avocado make a beautiful contrast. The blue corn pieces in the menu are unique and delicious. There is actually a connection between blue corn and kachina, which is only found in North-Arizona. This is traditional Sonoran food with a perfect balance of something extra. It's not new or unusual, but I can't think of a reason to give less than 5 stars. An evaluation said it was expensive, but at $13 for a two article combo I have no idea what is more expensive than any other restaurant with servers."
