"Great place. Quirky, but angry. Ordered chips and salsa, chorizo and asparagus plate and a grilled veggie tamale. The asparagus was perfectly carburized, the chorizo was crisp, homemade tortillas were warm, salsa was hot and chips were fresh. Plus Margaritas were strong. Very recommended!"

"Charlie is a gruff adorable owner who will make your mouth happy w/ tamales of every kind. Be patient, find a seat and he will be w/you asap. There is a yellow menu for take out(frozen tamales) or a hot meal on the two regular menus. Frozen tamales come in 4 packs and are individually large. And the margaritas come w/ chili salt on the rim. Great atmosphere and fun to watch Charlie interact w/other customers. Love this place, will return soon!?"
