"Like many people in the reviews have mentioned- service is slow and terrible. No acknowledgment whatsoever and the face they put up is that of someone who hates you for bothering. Walked in, stood in line to find out it was the to-go line. We were told to take a seat, and we would be given menus shortly. Sat down for 30 minutes, and people who walked in after and got in line were taken first. It seems like they are short staffed, but acknowledging customers goes a long way as well as friendly attitude. Food was coming out slow for others, so it was wise to leave and find other food than possibly wait around for another hour or two to get what we wanted-food. Did not want to risk our order being messed up and paying for what was sure to be a bad experience of Salvadoran food. Shameful."

"We came here on Sunday morning 12/12 after a long party night. after a long night of drinking the perfect medicine is a huge bowl with menudo. So we came to la cocina de ana for exactly that. it is a restaurant in sitting, but they don't have sit down menus so they have to order before location. I'd rather sit and go through the menu before ordering, but I won't knock for it. I tried a few things, so it can be checked. that is a good idea. Not the best I had in restaurants, but very solid. the trip had a nice chewing gum, was not mudy or chew, it was just right. I also ordered pata on the side that is my favorite part. the broth was very good, just needed a little more salt. the maistortillas were amazing and filled. the tortillas were made very obviously fresh, only by touching them and feeling how kissen are soft. the tortillas are above all the reason why they go from 4 stars to 5 stars. fresh tortillas enjoy so much more broth than an older tortilla. quesadilla that was a command for my son, but as always I stole a piece. beautiful amount of cheese and meat. tortilla was nicely grilled and the marinated pork was also good. my only complaint was quite fat. tamales solid 3.5 chicken tamales. also a command for my son or otherwise I would never order chicken. torta (gigant) so we asked ourselves why a torta would cost 11 dollars and then it came. the thing was almost 2 meters long and 6 inches wide. it was a sight to see. now I couldn't try this monstrosity, but I had to check it on the size of the size alone. my gf said it was the best torta she ever tried, which I only have to take her word for it. we can come back when we are in the opposite, if only because I lived in the apartments above the street and went to the primary school next to me when I was in the 5th grade lol. would like to try some tacos with the freshly made tortillas"
