"My wife and I were on a road trip in Santa Fe and had a recommendation for The Shed from a friend who grew up in New Mexico. After looking the area over we were afraid the place just had to be a tourist trap and, of course, no wannabe foodie is going to be satisfied with that. But we were stuck there and decided to give it a try for lunch anyway. Boy, were we wrong. This place is no tourist trap! The staff is experienced and proficient, the prices are moderate, considering the area, and the food is terrific. In addition, there is a historical note that adds some interest. e.g. parts of the building date to the 1600 's. You can read their history on-line. We started with their Traditional Chips and Salsa which werd excellent. Then my wife ordered the Frito Pie with Red Chili on the side and I ordered their Green Chili Burrito with added beef and The Chili substituted for Green (see photo). Their 99 free menu was refreshing. Both dishes were superb: fresh, hot and delicious. I also ordered an IPA from their extensive drink list. The margaritas looked very appealing but I decided against one for lunch. The only problem we found was the place was very noisy until the crowd dwindled. This place will be a must for me anytime I am in Santa Fe. Kingwood Bob"

"My intro to pupusas!. I had no idea what they were until I tried. Simple, inexpensive, delicious! We ordered one of each variety and my favorite was the simple bean. Enjoy it with all the additions of Salsas and Slavs ... can not go wrong!"

"Really nice experience at this restaurant. Sat at the community table which was nice. Service was excellent and the food was great! We had the beet and mango salad and pork pibil entree. Both were delicious! Highly recommend!"

"It feels like Chevys is coming back with Good ambience and great service. I went for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night, and we we?re greeted with friendly attitude and our Server Carolina, was very attentive to our needs. She kept doing her rounds to make sure we were taken care of refills and etc. Will definitely come back again."

"Very good masa in the chile tamale. Flavorful rice and refried beans. Good salsa quemada. Rajas tacos (not on the menu but available) were good but not great (great Rajas has maillardized cheese). My son loves the bean and rice burritos here. Be on the lookout for the excellent churro truck that sets up shop in the parking lot."

"What can I say? This place delivers every time I’ve been there. Since the 11 years I’ve been in Santa Fe I’ve enjoyed their cuisine and their menu. Some of the best breakfast burritos around town they are costly but what isn’t costly around town right now? And their tacos are amazing as well. What a great breakfast place! A breakfast burrito with sausage and green or chicken tacos in the morning you can’t go wrong go check them out!"
