"Shopping day in Dresden, the child in a late shift, it is possible to connect a child from work to shopping trip. But what do you do in the meantime from shop closure to dinner? So it was close to going to dinner again. The Indian restaurant “Agra”, which we had visited the last time 5 years ago, came back near the Arbeiststätte. A call and a table in the field were reserved for us at short notice. So it went to Striesen after graduation. After we were able to easily turn off our mobile base in one of the side streets, the last meters walk were no problem. Arriving in the restaurant, we were greeted by a young Indian and led at our table in the open air seat. Free-seat sounds very exaggerated here. Actually, only a part of the footpath was locked here and tables and chairs were placed. Since the footpaths in Dresden are often in need of renovation, chairs and tables were also tilted and slanted. But at over 30 degrees outside temperature in the evening we didn't want to sit in the guest room. The rich menu, which was laminated as a flyer, was presented and we first ordered a 0.5 housemarkspils for € 3.90 and a Schoppen Grauburgunder for € 6.90. Hauspils and a Schoppen Grauburgunder Both drinks were in place after almost 5 minutes, so we could deliver our order. As appetizers, the “Panir Pakora” were once a homemade Indian cream cheese marinated with chickpeas and fried for 5,10 €, once the “Onion Bhaji” – onion rings marinated with chickpeas flour and roasted for 5,10 € and once the “Murgh Pakora” – chicken meat pieces with chickpeas floured 5,90 €. As a main dish we chose the “Tikka Special” – marinated and grilled chicken and duck breast fillet with mild cream cheese, paprika, onions, ginger and garlic in spicy masal sauce for 18,00 € and once the “Mix Tikka” – chicken meat, lamb, cheese and 2 sampis with peppers, onions and onions. We chose a Naan bread to both courts. Almost 20 minutes after the order, the appetizers were on our tilted table. The “Panir Pakora” of the homemade and fried Indian cream cheese was not so stupid. Dry, even chewing between the teeth, fortunately, there were freshly anticipated salads as a supplement. “Panir Pakora” is a homemade Indian cream cheese, marinated with chickpeas and also fried the “Onion Bhaji” – the marinated onion rings were apparently too long in the frying. They drank of fat, from the onion there was hardly anything to taste, even here again as the only drop of wormwood of fresh salad. Onion Bhaji – Onion rings marinated with chickpea flour and fried Better were the chicken meat pieces ala “Murgh Pakora”, which were also picked with chickpea flour and then roasted. Although this was also very fatty due to the frit fat, they were at least not fried dead, but nevertheless pleasantly tender. Here again fresh snippel salad of the season. “Murgh Pakora” – chicken meat slices with chickpea flour and rides well, we could have saved the appetizers. But the main food didn't take too long. Almost 40 minutes after the order there were two steaming pans on our table. I wanted to try something different with the “Tikka special” than lamb and chicken on the Indian. So I chose the marinated and grilled chicken and duck breast fillet, which was on the plate in equal parts and in pleasantly large pieces. Meat delicately seasoned with the Indian Masala sauce. Add some cream cheese, fresh peppers and onions, a pleasant touch of ginger and not too little garlic. The Naanbrot is completely sufficient for this. That was out. “Tikka Spezial” – marinated and grilled chicken and duck breast fillet with mild cream cheese, paprika, onions, ginger and garlic in spicy masalasa sauce The “Mix Tikka” – consisting of chickens and lambs, also cut in large pieces and seasoned with masalasauce, was sprinkled with a small cheese and a small cheese. Add freshly cut peppers and large pieces onions and tomatoes rounded with a pleasant breeze ginger and also here again abundant garlic. There was nothing to get out of here. “Mix Tikka” – Chicken meat, lamb, cheese and 2 Sampis with peppers, onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic Our conclusion: The falling and smoky footpath as an outdoor gastronomy is not at all, even if the operation always excuses and would like to sneak a beer lid under the table. The appetizers were nix this time, here the cook probably forgot the frying time. The main foods were as usual."
