"Delicious Ramen Selection. The selection of ramen at Kenzo is pretty amazing. So many different types of broths with a variety of toppings available. It's a great shoutout to the different cuisines you can find in Japan.<br/ <br/ I'm a sucker for the Champon noodles of Nagasaki, thicker and firmer than the regular noodles, it went well with the variety of seafood mixed into the broth. Although it was a bit messy to peel the shrimp and shellfish, plucking them out of the broth. Kenzo is also a great options for vegetarians, offering a vegetable-based broth that is far from the pork-based tradition, but not sacrificing any of the salty, savoury flavour.<br/ <br/ This small restaurant was a great find for lunch, not too buys, but with a great assortment of hot soup bowls to warm you up on a cold day. I'd stop by any one of Kenzo's franchises the next time I'm in Toronto."

"This place is SO tasty!!! The vegan bao is amazing! The bao itself could be better but the filling was other worldly! We also got the mushroom ramen which was really good but not super different from veggie ramen at regular ramen spots. I’d definitely spring for beyond meat in your ramen for a more robust experience. Amazing service and super cute restaurant. Would def recommend as a vegetarian ramen lover!Vegetarian options: It’s all vegetarian so amazing veggie options!"

"One of my favorite Japanese spots in the Bay. Known for their yakitori, they don’t disappoint on other fronts with a delicious roasted duck topped with jalapeños or their black sesame tan tan men ramen. The broth was incredibly flavorful but don’t hesitate to add a little more chili oil to the tantanmen for extra spice."

"I ordered the vegan shoyumen and didn’t love it. It was just broth and noodles with some seared veggies on top, not what I expect from ramen. But I tried some of the miso ramen and all star my friends got which were excellent. I’ll definitely come back but will try another veg ramen. The seared edamame and veggie gyoza apps were good as well. Nice happy hour for drinks $5 beer, cheap wine)"

"This was our first dining experience at Cocoro. With Ai sushi closing last year, we were in search of a high quality casual sushi place in the downtown area. We like Masaki too but felt that it was a bit pricey for everyday dining. Kamehachi is also an options but all they have is a sushi bar. We were a party of four and we ordered several appetizers: the Manila clams were excellent. Cooker has traditional Japanese appetizers that were overall excellent. We also ordered Maki rolls and sushi al la carte, I especially liked the Aji, the Salmon, and the Unagi (done to perfection). You can tell the sushi was very fresh and not left over. We also tried their soup ramen noodles--that was really good. The soup base was made with real ingredients instead of that instant stuff found in most other restaurants. We finished with green tea ice cream and home made red bean paste. Overall, an excellent dining experience, will definitely go again."
