"Deer Garden is your go-to place for big bowls of HK style soup, perfect for curing hang overs and warming you up over rainy days, or refueling you after skiing.My favorite is their laksa soup base. My sister orders it with thick rice noodles but I prefer mine with egg noodles. Don 't make the mistake of ordering too many extra ingredients in the soup, there 's plenty of stuff in the bowl with the 2 ingredients you select. My wife though prefers the 'western style rice dishes ', which I 'm not sure why they 're called that because they aren 't really western style at all, but fill you up just as well as the soup. Also, if you 're craving something deep fried, they use costco fries here which are always so satisfying.Comfortably seating groups of up to 6. No dress code, so you can wear your comfiest clothes and have your sunglasses on indoors while you scarf down your soul-filling meal. The service and ambience here isn 't world class but they 're still friendly and it 's a busy place full of families usually, so you know you 're in good hands of professional soup chefs."

"Ordered a Mango Pomelo Sago drink and it arrived containing coconut. My five year old daughter is allergic to coconut. She drank half, as none of us realized and she doesn’t know what coconut tastes like. Her face is entirely swollen and she is crying. I can’t believe they would add coconut to a drink and not tell us!"

"I am usually a big fan of Coco but this location severely disappointed me. The large Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea I ordered was almost half ice to the point that boba was stuck under the ice once the drink was half way done. The person who took my order was on the phone almost the whole time and it seems that the drink was premade or prepared without any care. Avoid this location as there are other ones that serve great tea."

"M was craving some Taiwanese noodle soup so I went to my trusty Van adviser and was told to check out Wang’s Beef Noodle House. It’s located right beside a VPL branch. Hours are long and consistent. We dropped in on a late Wednesday evening (around 9:00pm) and the place was about a third full. No frills but it’s clean and with lots of seating. Service is fast and efficient; I liked how they came back several times to fill up our tea cups."
