"I have mentioned several times that according to tradition, the best confectioner of the island works as a worthy successor to the namemaker. Nothing changed that. Manne Pahl is for us always the tangible emergency nail, if we don't feel like great adventures. Having such a location in walking proximity is very practical. After some purchases Mettwurst from Hansen-Hof in Morsum, Baguette rather Ciabatta at Bakery Ingwersen, also Morsum and chocolates from the chocolate factory at Café Wien in Tinnum, we arrived at Manne Pahl at 14:00. Since there were still two free places in the parking lot, I hoped that the place was not too full. Hope quickly burst when we masquered the restaurant. At first we found only an extremely difficult to enter high table with bank in the dark cave of the back guest room. I decided to secure cake first, while my wife rode through the place. In fact, during my shopping a table was released in the conservatory. My wife secured the claim while I had the bad luck to have a big buyer at the cake counter before me, who at least put 54 euros for cake. The tables cannot be moved here without remodeling, so there are spit deflectors made of corrugated board and transparent film between the tables that a company made from Coburg. They were more shaky on their cardboard foot, but fulfilled their purpose. We received from one of the two constantly running service ladies the one-sided printed one-sided cards and the registration forms, which are always done quickly because of my ballpoint pen stamp. I guess there was a power in the service. At any rate, when someone made a special request, we heard a disappointed no, that's not possible, we were only reaped to two. It is a real challenge if one is behind the cake counter and the other is to provide the whole place. Nevertheless, we could quickly order our two Wiener Schnitzel and two glasses Riesling. The people who wanted to go to the restaurant were already stacked outside. Nevertheless, our record-fillings each came after a reasonable time. As always, there were Nordic cucumber salads, a bowl of cranberries, lemon in the sack and roast potatoes. The carvings made a fried impression because of their absolutely even tanning. If you took off the panade, a uniform pattern came to light, so I think this is not knocked, but is plated in a kind of pasta machine. Unfortunately, the very browned roast potatoes did not appear fresh. There was nothing to put on cucumber salad, cranberries and lemon. We paid by EC card and were back in our holiday home at about 15:00."
