"I 'm giving the restaurant a three today, only because of my otherwise good and long association with the place and because the burgers were very good as always! But the service tonight was a disaster! We sat and waited a few minutes until I had to remind our server/ manager. who was behind the counter, fiddling in her phone, that we needed a menu to get started. Only then we got it! Then she remembered quite late that she needed to check everyone 's sanitary passes, after we were already seated and sipping our drinks!! She did the same with the men at the next table and I overheard them say that they didn 't all have sanitary passes! But of course it was too late to ask them to go as they were already consuming their orders! Then when it was time to pay, she got a LONG phone call that sent her in and out of the kitchen! Then she finally came back and didn 't even bother to apologise for the wait!! And while I was waiting, I saw the cook in the kitchen not wearing a mask while preparing and touching our food and putting the salad in the plates with his bare hands. After two interruptions, the third time I finally managed to ask her what that was all about and she said that indeed he doesn 't wear a mask and there was nothing she could do about it, as she cannot force him! Though she absolutely could if she wanted to and if she cared! I told her that, more than her, the cook who handles our food and comes in close proximity with it should wear a mask, and she told me that this is how it is and that if I don 't like it I should talk to the owner! In the height of a pandemic, I expect sanitary rules to be observed strictly and MUCH more responsibly than this. Even if I could... reluctantly... accept that lady 's slow and clueless service and lack of hospitality manners, what I can never accept is her lack of responsibility towards her clients ' health and wellbeing in the height of a pandemic. Also, by the way, we had to use our own hand sanitizer as they either didn 't have one or it was not placed in a visible place. So I just took out mine! And of course, she didn 't ask me or anyone around if we had used sanitizers because we know by now that sanitary rules mean totally nothing to her!! Never again!"
