"Sat waiting for 20 minutes in half empty restaurant to then have menus thrown at us. Went to order 2 beers and was then told no, only with food as he is too busy. The restaurant was not even half full. What a way to...run a business. Bring back El Cotillo 1993 when waiters had manners. Que Mal."

"We picked this restaurant after seeing the reviews, but I'm afraid we didn't have a positive experience. Beautiful view, pleasant surroundings, but we were disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, the two main courses we had decided on weren't available, so we chose from the specials board. Nice hot crispy bread with alioli, and perfectly good house white wine. So far so good. But the ribs (which arrived worryingly fast about 2 mins after the bread! were really dry and tough, and I was sure had been deep fried. I normally eat what I'm given, but in this case I really couldn't. My husband's meal was better but very plain. So I ate the bread and some of the chips and salad, which was dry and undressed, and gave up. When the waiter came to take the plates, he asked if it had been ok, and so I politely said the ribs were dry and overcooked. To the waiter's credit, he offered us free desserts, but we politely declined. And, even further to their credit, when we paid they had not charged for my ribs. So they did do the right things which won the two stars, but food wise it really wasn't star worthy. Perhaps we just picked the wrong night, but as I'm a bit of a foodie, it's not somewhere I would go to again."
