"Quel espace, plus de 30 tables, hélas, personne à l'accueil, en fouinant, je trouve ma table réservée à 12h00. Je commande l'apéro à 12h40. La carte tout aussi disproportionnée : env. 40 sortes de pizzas, idem pour les pâtes, choix de vins infinis, de Salquenen à St-Maurice avec des détours en Italie et au Portugal. Comme je le craignais, le personnel (3 ou 4 serveurs seulement) trés courageux est complètement dépassé. Par contre les assiettes tant attendues sont de bonne facture. Viande de 1ère qualité, pizzas délicieuses, glaces, crême trop bon et l'addition ne provoque aucune indigestion. Voilà, si vous n'êtes pas trop pressés et que des inconnus qui partagent votre table ne vous indisposent pas trop, OUI. Sinon NON."

"Had a raclette in caffe du midi. it is a tiny place, jammed with tables and they are arched to the main arch with those closest table. service was friendly and prompt. we had a delicious raclette and were impressed to see that. they listed the sorts of cheese on the wall bagnes 4, which is from liddes on the way to the st bernard and which I think is the best of all bagnes cheese. (They are numbered by the milk they produce). Bagnes is the traditional Raclette cheese, so all right here! café du midi is probably the best place in martigny for fondues (they have a great choice on the menu) and raclette."

"Fresh wholesome and satisfying pasta with prawns and morels, and fresh fish (perch) and chips for my husband--these absolutely hit the spot for us after a long ski day in Verbier! The local white wine Petite Arvine was a wonderful companion to the meal. For...a Swiss hotel, this was well worth it's price (not too Swiss ;P) for the quality we received."
