"2017/11/05<br/ We weren’t sure what we wanted for dinner, so we drove to the York Blvd neighbourhood to find something that suited our mood. We spotted 3 Brewers, and figured that it would do the trick. Even though it was a Sunday evening, we were surprised at how empty the restaurant was. <br/ <br/ After deciding on drinks, we made our food choices. SWMBO picked the Beer Battered Fish Chips (1 pc). Although it was enough for this evening, the cod filet did seem to be on the smallish side. The batter was crispy and not too heavy. <br/ <br/ I chose he Texan Flammekueche, one of the 3 Brewers’ Alsatian flatbread offerings. It had pulled pork, red peppers, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, BBQ sauce, all topped with onion rings. I enjoyed the combination of flavours and textures. <br/ <br/ Server was pleasant and polite."

"We went to Saison for the first time for date night and had outdoor seating. I wish that the fly swatters that they had provided late in the dinner were there from the beginning because if I had known, it would have made our dining experience better. The waitstaff were pleasant and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations on food and drinks. We had the Mezcal mule and Leave the Door Open as drinks and for food, we ordered the tomato salad, black cod crudo, and the ssam pork chops. Every dish was such a surprise in terms of the quality and taste and although it did not look like a lot, we left feeling really full. If you manage to get indoor seating, the space is not large so be prepared for an intimate experience."

"I ordered a tip of the tongue for my starter drink. For my courses:1. duck leg, 2: short rib, 3 “candybar” with a Candymaker peanut butter milk stout. Amazing food, amazing service. The very best experience I have Had in RVA. Thank you. Everything was perfect. The duck was succulent, the short rib fell apart perfectly, and the deconstructed “Candybar” was out of this world. Mark was perfect with the suggestions, and the kitchen was perfect with the course timing. All around amazing. I cannot Thank y’all enough."
