"Service was good and friendly menu offers a mix between local dishes and some classic dishes. it s great that they work together with some local farmers for starters we took a mixed plate with specialties, and this was ok. Mains : lamb (smoked at the resto) was good , fish was a bit tasteless and didn't justify the price asked for it. we took some local wines at an honest rate . seating was basic, hard chairs, and because of two family tables close to us, it was impossible to understand each other (bad acoustics) overall ok experience, nothing earth shattering though."

"Petit resto typique de notre terroir. Produits frais et cuisine soignée, le tout à un prix raisonnable.On y a apprécié les cuisses de grenouilles. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Réaction très attentionnée de la patronne pour corriger une erreur de son employée: bravo! C'est suffisamment rare en Suisse pour être souligné... et mérite 5 sur 5."

"Plat du jour avec des légumes et une salade maison. Rien à redire !La terrasse donne malheureusement sur la grande rue donc profitez de l'intérieur qui a beaucoup de charme."

"La carte propose des plats simples, sans chichis. Nous avons eu droit à un super accueil, la patronne et la serveuse ont été sympathiques et efficaces. Le steak tartare était délicieux et le prix tout à fait correct.Une chouette adresse pour un repas simple et pas trop cher entre copains."

"The Hostellerie du Chateau has a nice terrace across the street offering food and drinks but the results are somewhat disappointing. Service is poor and disorganised and if the place is busy then guests wanting to eat may have to wait while tables are occupied...by guests lingering over a coffee or a bottle of mineral water. Ice is apparently rationed and if you order some rose no ice buckets appear to be available so the wine can not be enjoyed at the right temperature.!! The food menu is somewhat limited and both the steak tartare and the risotto are quite ordinary in fact. There are some 4+ waiters plus somebody preparing the drinks but for some reason sections of the restaurant have not been allocated to individual waiters resulting in disorganisation and general indifferent service. Basically the whole opportunity is being wasted and we will not be returning other than perhaps for a drink. The terrace is well protected from the sun with multiple large parasols , however there is a good place to get ice creams just down the street.!!"
