"We have been seeing the Panta Rhei going in and out the harbor every day since we moved here in August and my wife wanted always to go for brunch on that ship. Finally we did it last weekend and it was a great success: I am the best husband you can get! What else can I say about the quality of that brunch?"

"Ordered two coffees and bottle water round from staff front section was not open yet. Left and thought ok i bring back the tray and empty bottles to the waiters save them some work... got told off like a child by a man and a woman nei nei neeei and that i need to bring it to the front and not to them and other criticism. I was simply bringing it back so it doesn't stay on a table in the rain or gets missed. Extremely rude considering am doing your job and being nice after spending Typical attitude that explains why we never go out in switzerland to restaurants... no other word than arrogant to describe the service ... pay and say sorry for bringing business like?! In the end I didn't get into big discussions as they are clearly deranged. We pay we try be nice and then on top of it we get told off??! Abaolute muppet show."

"I am beyond disappointed with this restaurant. I don’t understand the good reviews. I went there for my 5 year anniversary, we barely go to restaurants so we were excited to go to this one as it had such good reviews and a Michelin star. We ordered the menu, costs 90 per person 25 pp with the wagyu option. First off, the a la carte options are so varied and looks like they have maybe nice things. And since we got the menu, we were expecting something nice as well, the chefs choice and all, huge mistake. The first foods arrive and it’s mainly tasteless chunks of cucumber, half a onion, a miso soup that only tasted like chicken stock and the wagyu party, which consists in 1 nigiri with a thin slice of wagyu (was missing salt as they don’t give you soy sauce) and 1 meatball filled with mozzarella (which tasted like normal meat and it was dry- So you pay 25 for those 2 pieces, not worth it). Anyway, this was the first round of food. The next round of food consisted of 1 bowl full of Brussel sprouts, more than 10, and on top some bonito flakes. Just that… just brussel sprouts in our table and nothing else. Ok, after a while they came and took the brussel sprouts in order to bring the next thing on the menu. The next thing on the menu was almost half an EGGPLANT on top of a bunch of rice, and the eggplant was cold. This eggplant dish was very bad and we started to feel bad for paying that much money just to eat VEGETABLES, and not only that, because you can make good vegetables like gyoza and spring rolls, tempura, etc. We couldn’t believe that we wasted that much money to celebrate our 5th anniversary in such a bad restaurant. We asked them to stop our menu right there, they charged us 70 instead of 90, plus the 25 ofc. So in the end we ended up paying 95 per person to eat some very bad vegetables and tasteless food and 2 pieces of wagyu that’s weren’t even good. I don’t know if the a la carte is better, must be because at least you are picking the things you like, but STAY AWAY from the chefs menu. It’s much better to spend that same 95 or 115 getting things on the a la carte. Anyway, I would like to tell the restaurant that they ruined our 5 year anniversary dinner, you make us feel so bad for spending that much money in such a poor experience. Made me very sad to say the least."

"This was my first time trying fondue and the service and (plain) fondue with bread and potatoes (I don't eat pickles or gherkins) were great. Just, no air-conditioning and right on the street where there is construction."

"The restaurant is decorated in a pastiche of a Parisian steak restaurant. It's comfortably cosy and the tablecloths are white cotton. We'd booked a table for two for 7pm. When we entered we were offered a table right by main door and close to the entrance to the bathrooms, clearly the least attractive table of the house. Our request for a different table was accepted by the maître d' albeit after commenting that we'd booked the last table available. Maybe there had been lots of cancellations but throughout our time there at least three tables remained unoccupied. We were relieved to have asked for a better table. As we sat down, several aperitifs were put to us, including champagne. The day's special starters were then reeled off but no prices given. They included duck liver medallion, at Fr27.50 as it turned out. The entrecote was very good but the pommes allumettes were too brittle for our liking. Regular pommes frites are not available, we were told. As our table was cleared, we asked for coffees but clearly this was not read as it usually is because desserts were then proposed. The restaurant owner came by during dinner and also saw us out. He twice inquired how things had been and if we’d not had a train to catch we would have taken the time to tell him that we felt his establishment was professionally run but would gain from being less precious and pushy."
