"Returning from a trip to the area, we stopped with a group of 12 people between relatives and friends, in this small local in valtopina. we booked a few hours before lunch, the owner was very helpful, being the place with not many seats, changed the layout of the rooms to make us feel as comfortable as possible. the interior of the room is very characteristic, with walls full of objects and stone arches to divide the 3 small rooms. there is also a small cellar, but very provided. the environment is very familiar, it seems almost to be at home by friends, the owner and the chef presents himself immediately and puts us at ease in keeping and illustrating in every little detail the menu. excellent dishes, linked to the territory, among those that we tasted in particular potatoes with truffle butter, parmigiana artichokes and grilled ribs with aromas, prices absolutely on average, with an excellent price of quality. absolutely to recommend!"

"Okay, I'm going to reserve this with, I love truffles, just like on earth I couldn't stop from a restaurant called il tartufaro? a little from the beaten away, but while driving in the windy, stunningly picturesque mountain roads of mount subasio worth. if they happen to be in assisi, spello, spoleto or one of the hill towns aroundbrien, this is a fantastic midday trip, especially on a Sunday afternoon, when lunch takes about 3 hours. the owners and the staff, are amazing and so friendly. the beautiful allandra that speaks a little English, if you are Italian a terrible as mine, can help them with the menu. the stone restaurant, there is also an inn attached, is mainly visited by natives and has been around for years. the menu offers typical Umbria tasty, lenses, kicherbsen, cheese, local meat, pasta, just around a few, and almost everything comes with truffles, or it can if they want it. the ravioli with truffles in cream sauce is to die or try the strangozzi al tartufo nero, the local pasta, which means to tear a priest, that is another story overall. I follow the usually with the mixed grill. Do not forget to order one of the local Sagrantino wines from montefalco that go perfectly with the earthy of truffles. can not wait until we return there at our next visit in Italy!"

"We loved this place and went 2 nights in a row trying different dishes both nights. Their pasta was amazing and my husband had this both nights with truffles. I had the the mixed grill cooked on the open fire the second night. The service was fantastic. We can't wait to return when we're next in the area."
