"We had the 7-speed menu. the food was excellent, but the tasting menu seemed relatiw to the normal menu, so we would probably not order it again. the service was haphazard and confused, including providing one of our courses to another table, and a lack of knowing what served us. we will go back"

"I am usually hesitant to write a bad review, especially during COVID when there is so much extra pressure on staff and hospitality providers. We went on a very hot day degrees. Three airconditioners were running but it was still extremely hot and uncomfortable. We can overlook that. You cant help the weather ! But either more air conds are needed or they need to be running We ordered a cheese platter and tasting paddle of wines. The tasting paddle was great we got to try different wines each which was good value and lovely wines ! The staff were very friendly and did the best they could with a busy restaurant and only two of them working. The cheese platter was shocking. It consisted of some hard cheese pieces all yellowed around the edges (obviously had been sitting out in the heat) , some feta in a small bowl (dry) , a piece bocconcini on some wilted lettuce, olives that were dry in no brine or oil and absolutely tasteless. The only part that was ok was some prosciutto and relish. It was served with some bread in a basket. So much scope here to serve a nice platter, some paste, soft cheese, a few nuts or a few strawberries added with some wafer biscuits. I have to say sadly this is the worst platter we have ever had. We cancelled our dessert pizza order mainly due to how hot we were but secondly we really didn't have much faith it would be worth waiting for. All in all extremely disappointing."

"I often go here for the lunch specials. I always order the satay chicken sticks as my starter and the Japanese chicken rice as a main. The satay chicken sticks are always amazing and I love the sauce that comes with it. The Japanese chicken rice always has a lot of flavor and is one of my favorite dishes here! The downside to this restaurant though is the staff are kind of 'meh '. They don 't really seem to care all that much, judging by the way they serve customers which is a shame. The decor is okay but could probably be spiced up a bit more. All in all, the food is really good but the rest does need work."
