"We were visiting Hamilton from Manitoba and found Hambrgr on a best restaurants list. We are very happy we tried it, very good food. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We were a large group with quite a few young children and she handled everything with grace and patience and was at ease with the kids. The hamburgers were excellent and the Notorious P.I.G poutine was YUM! The portions are great and, if you don't have large appetites, could be shared. I tried a few of my niece's sweet potato fries and kind of wish I had ordered those instead! The only reason I cannot give a full 5 out of 5 is that they are not well set up for a large group walkin and do not take reservations. We were there mid afternoon on a weekday and would have had to wait 45 minutes to sit all together inside or we could sit on the patio right away. We chose the patio but not all tables had umbrellas and in the southern Ontario heat this was not very comfortable. However, this is only an issue if you are a large group, if you are not...well, then pretend there is a 5 out of 5 rating from me"

"Just tried this place a couple days ago, I had no idea what I was missing! The cheesy melty greasy deliciousness! Love the meat, the buns, the food! Would be amazing after bar food! It is amazing anytime food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Try the philly cheese sandwich!!"

"Lovely place for a relaxing sit on the patio having tapas and bevies. The meal service are lunch and supper and between, they have bottle service with tapas or finger foods. We had a lovely small charcuterie board with a flight of beer and a drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was fantastic."

"I've never had Poutine and it's personal that the combination doesn't sound so delicious for me, but I enjoy tasting new food and my wife wanted to get the whole Canadian experience, so I agreed and we chose Smokes. I can't have any experience or try poutins. While I enjoy all 3 ingredients (Fries, Gravy and Cheese Cuurds) I really couldn't get over the taste of gravity. It drowned the taste of cheese and everything ended like KFC Gravy. There was a wide baritone poutine combinations to try (we chose the Cheeseburger) and that tasted like Gravy. Her waffles were really crispy with a lot of taste."

"I found this place to have pretty easy access for a downtown core. The quaint setting and friendly service were most welcome to me after a rough day of traveling. The hostess/waitress was sociable, polite and thorough as she explained her menu items to me...and catered to all my needs this is more impressive for a 1 woman show! I would definitely recommend this place, and I will certainly return again on my future trips though Hamilton."
