"Assen on Friday 27.11.2015 cordon bleu with pommes in the angel.The service was friendly. dia ambiente Average.The cordon bleus were oily and partly not entirely through. the portions were also unequal. after the 2nd cartilage, I soon found it stupid. the price was not justified in this case. we will no longer visit this restaurant."

"Werden freundlich empfangen und bekommen einen bequemen Platz im Fumoir. Der Gin Tonic kommt bald und schmeckt gut. Suche mir noch eine Villiger Vegafina Zigarre aus. Sie wird schön auf einem Teller mit Schnittwerkzeug präsentiert. Die Bedienung hier ist sehr aufmerksam und dies in jeder Hinsicht. Zwischendurch werden wir auch immer mal wieder gefragt, wie es uns geht. Wir fühlen uns wohl. Später probieren wir noch ein Glas Rotwein. Auf dieser Primitivo überzeugt und weisst ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis auf. Heute ist Halloween das Thema im Haus und wir originell und lustig umgesetzt. Mir fällt zudem auf, dass der Rauchabzug im Fumoir gut funktioniert und die Kleider somit vom Geruch sehr verschont bleiben. Rund um... ein gelungener Besuch und sicherlich nicht der letzte."

"Nice local food. We ordered the typical flammkuche which is the local version of flat bread , but with "Creme fraiche"'instead of cheese, topped with veggies or mushroom and walnuts. Big enough to share. One of us ordered the Mexican salad but it was almost inedible because of too much dressing which turned the salad into soup. Apparently there is an excellent creperie near by but it was closed. Would try it next time. As for tuchlaube- it was just average and quite expensive"
