"I found this place as a pilgrim walking the Camino de Portuguese and took an extra days rest here staying two nights. Very very impressed. An amazing, spacious and rustic bedroom with wooden bunks and decent mattresses. A nice pool (a bit too cold for...swimming) that was great for dipping tired feet in. A nice bar and restaurant with reasonably priced hearty food. And friendly welcoming service. Really pleased I stayed an extra night. WiFi works well in the bedroom and the bar. This was a slight detour from the main Camino route, but was worthwhile. I’ve walked from Lisbon and arriving here a week later makes it a perfect stop for a genuine, recharge and renew stop."
