"I was here with my partner a few years ago during autumn and I remembered they had the best hot chocolate ever. When I was with my best friend at Arrowtown I told her you gotta try this place. They are great as they used to be. Since it is summer we definately do not wanna missed out the ice cream so we had their signature Patagonia Dark Chocolate with macadamia in cone and a creme brulee dessert. Both ice cream and dessert melted our heart. Their dark chocolate is always incomparable. Recommend to share the dessert because it was kinda filling for one person and you might find it too sweet at the end."

"This charming mountain town just 15 minutes outside of Queenstown is picture postcard perfect with its cute tree lined autumnal trees, preserved historical buildings on the Main Street set against a backdrop of spectacular mountains. The town’s most famous bakery serves a variety of pies all at $6.50 each. <br/>The steak and cheese pie is generously filled with both mince meat and chunks of melt-in-the mouth meat cooked in gravy with a layer of melted cheese. <br/>The cinnamon bun scroll is one of the best I’ve eaten, it’s soft brioche like soft bread is smothered in cinnamon which gives it a beautiful spice."

"The new menu is extensive and theres something for everyone! The service was wonderful and the food was quite possibly the nicest food I've ever had! Highly recommend the chicken burger will definitely be going back"

"We had an absolutely amazing experience at Mantra and its completely fair to say it is the best Indian restaurant we have been to in Queenstown and around. Having tried our fair share of Indian food in Queenstown and being disappointed to say the least, we were so delighted to have stumbled across this beautiful restaurant in Arrowtown. For entrees, Sundried Tomato Paneer tikka is a must have. The Nargisi Kofta, Dal Kabila and Paneer Tikka were perfectly balanced in terms of spice and flavour and a must try. For desserts, Lemongrass payasam and gulabjamun was a fusion combo which we absolutely relished. The Restaurant owner Guru Prasad had Masala tea made to order for us the way we requested and it was simply a delight on a cold day. The staff and owner were very warm and welcoming and we highly recommend Mantra to anyone who is looking for authentic Indian food. We for sure are planning to go again to try out rest of the dishes on their menu and to experience their warm hospitality"
