"It's always popular here and it opens both Monday and Tuesday unlike many other restaurants that might close one of these days. A good selections of appetizers and those were what we had chicken meatballs, crispy spicy tuna, yellowtail with jalapeños, and shrimps and vegetable tempura. All seafood was fresh and all dishes were tasty. We also had frozen sangria and green tea martini. The service was fast and friendly."

"Can?t say how happy we are to finally have some real Korean food in Asbury Park. Love Mogo but you can?t even compare the two. This place is the closest you will come to authentic Korean food without traveling all the way to Edison or Cherry Hill. They are finally getting their groove and service is much smoother. Food has been amazing since day one. The young man up front on our most recent visit was very helpful and juggled the non stop phone orders and in person orders seamlessly and with a smile. Our most recent visit did not include one of our faves the Korean short ribs mainly because it was just two of us and we had already over ordered, but they are a must. We are already regulars and look forward to many many more visits, so a warm welcome to Kimchi Mama and ?????!"

"Fun sports bar on the boardwalk. They have some creative cocktails and a nice selection of other drinks as well. It was empty when I went but there was a concert going on across the street, so I'm guessing it filled up later on. Recommended: cinnamon mule."

"After wandering around the beach and boardwalk at Asbury Park, sometimes you need to cool off. Tucked inside the Asbury Park Convention Hall (right near the entrance) is Betty's Icebox (they also have a truck on the other side of the building in the food truck area). Betty's has several cool confections like ice pops and (my favorite) shaved ice! They also have fresh popped popcorn (complete with olive oil and seasonings).Betty's is a small shop with a long counter where you order and where the staff is stationed. The other side has a small counter space but it's mostly taken up by products like candy. Seating is mostly set up outside the shop in a partly fenced off area.On this particular visit I picked up some popcorn and seasoned it with olive oil and garlic salt. It was really yummy and man, you really can't beat fresh popped!The feature item for me was the shaved ice which is freshly made to order. I ordered a lime and watermelon flavor combination. I am trying to watch my sugar intake so I ordered a small but *holy cow* the thing was *huge*! It was easily enough for two people to share and it made for a beautiful serving. The shaved ice is served in a cup that then sits inside holes carved into the tables outside. It's a fantastic way to keep the treat stable without having to use a gigantic bowl. The watermelon/lime combination was delicious but it does get really sweet towards the bottom where the syrup condenses. No joke, you could easily take the remaining syrup and add it to a seltzer to make a soda!I really enjoyed Betty's and look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"I was invited by a friend for coffee. Unfortunately we had such a great time, I didn't take any pictures sorry . I had a chicken salad sandwich very good and a adult hot chocolate so good . My friend had a chi tea very good . I visited here last Saturday 2/12 . This time I took pictures . I ordered a turkey and brie panini excellent , and 2 adult hot chocolates very good . Great service ,great people and atmosphere. One of my favorite places, great job. ."
