"I brought my fiancé to dinner here for her birthday. The food was great. I had the garlic chicken and she had the chicken cacciatore, which we both enjoyed. The bread is amazing! Being that it was her birthday, they brought out the garlic ice cream, free of charge.. Not my cup of tea but I’m sure some people like it hahah. Overall, the food was great as well as the service. I’ll definitely be coming back in the near future"

"I called the lobby lounge in Waldorf Astoria twice before the time to inform them about my food restriction, and they said ok... they will let the cook know so that they can prep some vegetarian for me. I called once a month before the time, then I called a day before my visit to make sure. When I arrived there, they said they did not take such requests for a person, and they forget to tell me about it. The server there offered me the regular menu item that can be made vegetarian, but I was there specifically for the Afternoon Tea the Eleven hour experience. I can eat Margarita pizza everywhere. I was there for afternoon tea and not the pizza. Anyway, I had to tell my friend that I should go somewhere and cancel the plan we've been waiting for a whole month. Very disappointing experience. This is not a 5-star hotel. That was a shame. I never go back. I had plans to try out their other restaurants, but based on this experience I don't go. At first they didn't inform me and then did nothing to help. I had to make plans last minute."

"If you want to eat like Sinatra and hang with the pack, this is a great place! Unapologetically old school, this is the kind of place you'd see in Vegas, but it is actually old and authentic. The room has comfy booths set in a low amber light for great ambiance, waitstaff is dressed neatly in jackets ties and the food is perfectly prepared old school tasty Italian that we all crave. I love this place!"

"For a midweek brunch, Viviane is a terrific place for a quiet, quality meal just steps from busy Beverly Dr. and usually easy street parking! The poolside cabana style tables are perfect for a pleasant experience. We sampled avocado toast, served on rustic sourdough bread with an egg, a tasty sliced chicken sandwich served on the same bread, amazing fish tacos and a sublime citrus salad. Great iced coffee! We’ve been coming here for years, it’s still great"
