"The name of the cafe has changed to CarvalhoA large group of us sat out in the balcony on Sunday. A member of staff came and told us in a loud and aggressive tone, that we needed to make sure the path was clear for other customers. There were 2 doors on either side of us, so no path was blocked. I went to speak to the member of staff and said can you please clarify what you meant. She became defensive and said that we were blocking the fire exit in "her restaurant". I said I understand this but I felt the way she spoke to us was quite abrupt. She said she didn't speak like that, turned away and said have a good day. I asked her if I could speak to the manager. To my astonishment she said she was the owner!!!I said that I find it unbelievable that the owner of the cafe was not interested in the way a customer felt. She said I am not interested and have a good day.We are visiting from Scotland and have travelled many countries. We have never seen such rudeness and arrogance anywhere in the world.It is great that one can express themselves on trip advisor."
