"One of my favourite spots for beautiful and nutritious bowls. Their Cambridge location is located right on Main Street in Galt and offers up a lot of food and drink options! We got the Mexican Bowl $13.5) and the Seeker Bowl $15.5), which are both amazing! Despite both of these being vegan options, the flavours were pretty good. The Mexican Bowl is always my go to for its fresh veggies and variety of textures creamy, crunchy, fresh, and savoury, all in one! Service is always great and they have a lovely back patio where you can enjoy your food. Only thing is that it's one of the pricer spots in Cambridge and the portions aren't particularly large."

"Looked on Trip Advisor and checked out some restaurant reviews and decided to check Penny Whistle out. Was not sure what to expect but was willing to experience the moment. Came in and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the bar / restaurant. Tables were clean as well as the floors and bar area. Sat down and the waiter, Dave welcomed us. I mentioned that I had read the reviews on the restaurant which seemed t perk more interest. We asked about the menu, British, Canadian and Indian food and he explained the various chooses of food being offered. We picked two different dishes: Penny Whistle pie and the steak sandwich. The drinks were Tomato juice and iced tea. For starters we tried the soup of the day Carrot ginger (one bowl for two).The soup was extremely good (good taste). Would order again. The tomato juice was good bad surprised with the ice added. The ice tea was good and could the ice in that.Found the steak sandwich to be good with the garden salad (French) on the side. Could not eat the bun as it was large. The Penny Whistle pie was very good with chicken and veggies inside. The pastry was flaky not doughy which was good.The meal was very good as well as the price. Found the service by Dave to be very good. He came over several times to check and make sure all was good. He was very helpful during our visit.The owner also came over to check on the service and food. The restaurant was not busy initially (we came around 4:30 PM) however it was more then half full by the time we left at 6:30 PM. Not bad considering this was a long weekend. It was a good visit to this restaurant / British pub which we will visit again and try some other dishes so we can experience the moment.Good one Dave. Ted"

"Outdoor seating, large booths, tables and chairs, lots of seating. Line up, place your order, take your number and servers deliver. Pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible. Lots of parking. Clean. Food is freshly made, bread choices are very tasty. Salads fresh and nicely presented. Lemonade refreshing tastes. Sandwiches are a good size and coleslaw is delicious."

"Me my wife and my daughter went to this place we order food and suddenly there was this lady came to us and said that we are not allowed sharing our food to one another because of the Covid… I have no idea why she said that… we leave in a same house eating same food.. this thing happened last year 2022.. I recommend don’t go to this place… terrible…"
