"We chose Owens for our Golden Wedding celebration. Good choice, the staff were excellent, the food superb. Our meals were served quickly and efficiently. The gentleman who had helped us to organise the meal was great and very patient when I needed to make changes....Overall an excellent venue and meal, highly recommended."

"Lovely Sunday dinner and great service. The chefs Ant and Cody worked wonders in the kitchen and we enjoyed a great roast beef dinner with fab roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings topped off with a sticky toffee pudding to die for."

"Ordered a delivery 2 hours later the guy turns up. Couldn't get through on the phone. Had to cancel. Guy turned up 2mins later. Sorry but had to turn him away, not his fault, but service and waiting time were simply unacceptable and needs to be looked at by the owners. 2 hours to deliver food is just not good enough. Sorry I cannot recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"What a cute place to visit! Afternoon Tea was beautiful, well worth booking! Lots of freshly made food available to buy in the farm shop, also lots of other products available to buy. Customer service in the tearooms was outstanding, they could not do enough for my family! Definately worth a visit!"

"Went in for a quick lunch, as we had dinned here before when shopping in Leigh. Brilliant fresh chips, crisp on outside soft on inside, made me think of my work days when I used to have occasion lunches at top London restaurants. Very good. Cheerful staff. Glad to see them open after this rough year."

"Took my grandma out for the day who’s practically house bound. She wanted to come here as she used to do so with her friend. It was fairly empty so was good to get her wheelchair in. As we put the brakes on to get her out into a chair we were rudely told to move from the aisle. We also had a pram which we tried to move as best possible. It’s a very small shop with no spare corners perhaps something to consider? Or at least help your customers by telling them where they can place pranks/wheelchairs rather than just be rude about it. While we were there there was another wheelchair and 2 more prams come in and out so it appears to be something worth looking at. One lady in particular was very rude she brought the wrong meal and when we told her she didn’t even apologise. She also brought us a wrong drink but by this point we just accepted it and bought another as couldn’t be bothered with her attitude. She was the same with all customers. One other member of staff was very friendly and helpful, making a lot of effort with everyone. Shame 1 rude person lets a place down. The food was good! We won’t be coming back though unfortunately we felt like she didn’t want us there that’s for sure"
