"What a lovely suprise. Was on route to an event and after a Google search this cafe was near by for a refreshment stop and what a quirky gem. I love places out the box and this definately was . A bookstore cafe with lots of handmade gifts, cards, every type of book available, jigsaws, models etc and even loo's with a view with some fab finishing touches how fantastic! This is obviously a converted garage/station with the memrobilia situated on the walls in the cafe. I couldn't believe how busy this little place was. Have already recommended to my Biker friends family who travel out this way to call in by to see it for themselves , however the only downside is the newly laid gravel carpark especially for motorcycles."

"A really nice guest house, we felt very happy to book their last room for 2 nights. our room was excellent, with a feeling of luxury over everything we found for our use, from the bowl with fresh fruit and exceptional tea selection, to the fluffy hand towels, care products, house shoes, raw, the list is long, but all that was provided was of high quality. then there was breakfast! an exceptional menu, with very generous selection of perfectly cooked dishes, along with excellent croissants, prepared fruits, a wonderful fresh smooth/seal menu, including calale-based or fruit-based but everything really good. plus amazing, everything we had was vegan! the owners are attentive, competent, efficient, generous and considerate. the location is charming, a leafy road from large Victorian houses just a few minutes walk from the buxton opernhaus, botanical woollen houses and Georgian descent. a pleasure to stay in such a well managed guest house, where the attention of the owners made to the detail and the desire according to the highest standards, for a comfortable stay. we will not hesitate to book again if we next time in or through the peak district. it could not have been better. updated by previous review on 2021-09-30"

"The health-saving city buxton is a luvly place to visit when the sun seems. beautiful stone-built, interesting history, small shops and caffes. the pavilion gardens have some great wheelchair friendly friendly walks and events for the whole family in summer season. one must see is the crescent, designed by john carr by york, is one of the most architecturally important buildings in england."

"Very friendly girl behind the bar, I had the Surf and Turf, true to their name. Big steak, the Shrimp are not Jumbo. Grilled Asparagus would go great with this dish instead of their House Veggies. Hence only 4 stars. PS very nice presentation..."

"Lovely restaurant on the pedestrianised shopping street in Buxton. They managed to fit in our party of 11 and 3 dogs. The food was delicious and came very quickly. It was good to be able to order from the table, although both WiFi and mobile connection were patchy. Huge varied menu catered to vegans, veggies and omnis."

"We popped into Coda on a rainy Tuesday and were warmly greeted! The quality of the hummus panini was outstanding and the coffee was super. We did not try the Guinness cake, but the two ladies sat behind us were very complimentary!! Definitely worth a visit if you need a restorative brew."
