"The Thai green curry is extra spicy. Excellent, but maybe a bit too hot. I love hot, but tonight was extra hot. The soups are great, the pineapple rice delicious. All dishes are served piping hot. This is a great deal for families. Breakfast is super here, a nice hot soup."

"Stopped in for lunch and the food was nasty. We order a pretty simple meal...soup and a tuna sandwich..the soup tasted off..even the cook agreed it tasted off...but who can screw up a tuna sandwich...it was dry and bland and not worth the effort to eat it..I have been there before and enjoyed the lunch but not sure i would go again."

"Lunch was NOT very busy..it took almost an hour to arrive at our table..our server who we never did find out his name came over about 45 minutes after we ordered to say the kitchen was swamped..I'd hate to see what it's like when it...actually is busy... once food finally arrived my friends salmon was missing.. not offered a top up on my coffee or another beverage not even water. No Manager or anyone came to follow up. Had to move inside just before our food finally arrived because bees were bad and moved us to Hightop table with a 2 year old with us because booths were all dirty..but there were tables we could of sat at not sure if they weren't seating them because of distancing tables??...anyway.... never did clean one asap to move us so I played peek a boo under the table to entertain her(thank goodness she is a very well behaved child) because I couldn't even see the top of her head. Once my friends food was delivered correctly the server asked how her salmon was NOW Well great now she had it in her dish.. no apologies no concern...lack of service /care and no urgency on part of staff for it being so busy Terrible experience and service and food not worthy to return to see if overall experience would be better next time.. never to return. The whole experience was laughable and at least that's what we did because we are such great friends! So many other little happened but I don't want to go on.. I don't usually leave reviews but this place deserves this review.."

"Today was my second visit to Zen Garden. Both visits have been for lunch (my first visit was in January).As this is a vegetarian restaurant, I have tried my favourite 'meat items' with replacement veg-ingredients (to give myself a fair comparison to things I know and love).At Zen Garden, meat is basically changed out of dishes for things like seitan (wheat-meat made from gluten flour), tofu and mushroom.Both times I have found the actual vegetable content of dishes to be a bit sparse. And, as with most Asian restaurant food, it was salty (but no more than any other place).The server working there today explained the owner was on holidays and they were just helping out in the mean time. I'm not sure the temporary staff are super confident in what they are doing and the regular menu I remember from my first visit was vastly reduced...hopefully it will be back to normal when the owner is back.They offer pretty well everything on the menu for sale from the freezer in the shop.I don't think I will likely be returning anytime soon. It was OK but nothing outstanding. I would have hoped for less pre-packaged stuff and more fresh vegetables. I guess vegetarian does not necessarily equal healthy...They have a small off-street parking lot, the washrooms are clean. It really is an OK place, no complaints, just nothing special."

"Came here for Good Friday all you can eat fish & chips. Was $15.99 but we all are 2 full meals. So good!! The pop and ice tea was too carbonated. We told the server and she went to fix it."

"The available opening hours, the pricing and the unhappy staff do not lend one to want to dine here. Late opening and early closing . The bartender is the server and In a week there I never saw more than one staff member on duty."

"Came for breakfast. Thier prices are amazing, staff is friendly, and the food was hot and fresh. Had an option to have fried onions and potatoes instead of fries and it was a much better option, so good! Will be returning for breakfast more often!"
