"It is situated at a prime location just opposite to Downtown Pantaloons, on G S Road. Went to get some sweets from there as it is the only sweet store nearby. The response of the salesmen were not good. They were sitting idle, playing games on their mobile handset instead of attending the customers. The items I purchased are tasty and can compromise on the price for those."

"The ambience is nice and they have nice and friendly staff... But they should really focus on improving the standard of their beverages...especially the tea which is horrible....the snacks and deserts are good though..."

"It was a rainy evening and we believed after a good cup of tea. So we went to a place called food villa that served 'kullarh wali chai ', for those who did not initiate in this concept, it means tee served in earth cup. it has happened so that this place has also changed to the tee bag tee and that is what many of us so detest. gruendly we went to a rustic old place called mahamaya restaurant. we were greeted by an old man at the counter with a warm smile. served us tee, nap, rasgulla and a double omelette. the tee was just puuurrfect! we ordered another round. the restaurant had minimalist furniture, but was very clean and clean. very satisfied with the perfect finished tee and also in such a relaxed atmosphere. we left the place with again a warm smile from the older person. he said the restaurant is almost 99 years old. what a shame! place like this, if it had been mumbai, it would have been converted into the likes of leopold or cafe mondegar!"

"If they happen to be in guwahati and have a great obesity and want to enjoy the real tradition and tribal food of the northeast. a must visit. it has a good park as in sonapur, 20 KM drive from the city with the nature surrounding it. eating is fantastic. but if they only like tradition. there is no luxury. it's pure nature and you had a great time. they can even come with badminton rackets, cricket bat n ball or with a dslr to make beautiful pictures of nature. it will give you peace."

"Deka Chang resort, located in the mushrooming 'resort country' of Sonapur, is one for lovers of traditional cooking. Much in the nature of the people and the region, this resort also moves in a very 'lahe lahe'(slow paced) mood. The food, however, is quite good. Particular mention to the traditional style of sunga (hollow bamboo) cooking, which is the USP of the resort. We simply loved the sunga pork here and the rest of the usual suspects too were passable. Be warned, though, that service, as I mentioned earlier, is snail paced. Took them almost two hours to put the food on our tables. However, the resort is set in beautiful locales, with green lawns and a duck pond to wile away time (not to mention a tea estate nearby). So, if y're looking for an outing on a lazy Sunday afternoon, this might just be the right place!P.S It is not cheap (by Sonapur standards)."

City: Dishpur, Market Area | Fancy Bazar, Guwahati, India, 781001, Dishpur
"Located just at entry of Fancy bazaar from Panbazaar is a kind of fast food with Samocha , sweet tea etc. Mostly rush. Good quality Samocha (Singra in Assam Style ) for taking while marketing at fancy bazaar and got exhasuted. Some times to take food standing. We used many times during our Cotton college days in 70s. Still it is continuing.Good But major improvement in infrastructure is not seen"
