"I don’t get a sense of Japan when I eat here. The food is average. I had the crab cream croquettes (tasted like factory prepared ones) and beef teriyaki (tasted good, beef was cooked perfectly) bento which came with fried fish, prawn katsu (both dry) and salmon salad (was ok). Service was great."

"Went in this morning under a Groupon with four people for champagne and two tasting platters. We were seated and then not seen to for about five or six minutes - typical Perth lax service so didn't think much of it.Finally a waitress came over with a bottle of red and offered to start pouring. We advised her it was meant to be champagne to which she offhandedly commented they didn't have any champagne. We advised of the offer and that it had been booked about a month before. She half-heartedly said she'd go check with the manager. We could hear the manager simply say they hadn't ordered any. Waitress comes back and repeats this and says we have a choice of red or whiskey.NOT GOOD ENOUGH.I know Perth service pretty much sucks but this was a level of CONTEMPT for customers I have never experienced before. We left and went to the Kinky Lizard down the road instead - GREAT service, fantastic food and really good prices.We will NEVER go back to this...

"Went on Sunday for my birthday. Was not busy which was surprising as the view and location is superb. This place has mixed reviews about the food and service so it must be a hit and miss Experience. Our lunch was perfect and good value. The service was excellent and they surprised me with a birthday desert and sang happy birthday."

"Love The Pan Pacific Hotel, a place we always stay when visiting Perth due to beautiful staff, wonderful suites & great breakfasts. Very positive experience here for afternoon tea with lots of beautiful sweet treats & deserts. Not to mention the free flowing sparkling. Coffee was a tad bitter which is my only complaint, very well presented however"

"Just had a great full Irish breakfasts and a bacon and egg sandwich on lovely brown bread. Good service, good price and the owner gave the kids with us a bar of chocolate each after which was a lovely gestute!"
