"We eat here regularly, take and eat. The service here is not so great... They have empty tables and let you sit and wait to sit. Good luck trying to get someone's attention to order or get your check. The food is really good, but- better than the other Himalayan cuisines I tried for SD (they are all connected) this seems to have the best food. Vegan articles include the pakoras, navratan korma, bindi masala, chole, baingan bharta, and more. You have a Veggie Plate menu to be safe, no ghee, etc. I usually get the navratan corma with coconut milk and it is a spectacular dish."

"Had breakfast at Swami 's Cafe Escondido this past Sunday. Food was out of this world from coffee to smoothies to breakfast dishes. Loved the idea that coffee was serve yourself. Loved you could get anytime and season to your preference. Also had a great selection. The place had a very nice vib to it with about equal amounts of indoor or outdoor seating. Food came very quickly when ordered. Only very minor nit was took a few minutes too long for server to get to the table to take orders. Of course had a cup of coffee to carry us over. Overall great experience and will be trying the lunch menu soon. BTW they are only open for breakfast and lunch to don 't plan on a dinner."

"I've often been to Kenos The one thing you can always depend on. The food tastes just as good and hearty and the bar pours a good drink. It is definitely Honky Tonk style from the wooden wall in the cocktail lounge to the beautiful glass windows in the. It is convenient and friendly good place to meet people, the stories of many yesterday about the area or someone who had just luck and found the place everyone invited is no invitation required. Thanksgiving right around the corner of Keno has its traditional buffet with dessert and drinks for the same price 40 years ago 3.00 . Yup Free is what I said. Come over and see the captain you're back."

"What a charming dinner with great food and the most attentive and friendly service. Your parklet is very beautiful with many parasols. The highlights for us are the Greek Omelet and the buttermilk pancakes. If you are looking for a welcoming breakfast place in Encinitas, this is the place.
