"So this is the place to go if you on a Friday or Saturday evening become hungry and want something nice to eat. The Döner here is one of my favorite in all of Freiburg, and they are basically almost always open. I can really recommend the Yufka, but also the Fladenbrot is tasty. The Staff are often very friendly, and one of them always make a joke. Overall is this a place I like to just take a Döner, perfect location so easy to find."

"I know this sushi shop since it opened. So far as I know it was the first in Freiburg. It is now for a long time in new surroundings: the main room has a moving sushi track with seats around but there are some tables, mainly outside in the covered shopping area. This is by far the most comfortable sushi place in freiburg. As regards the quality of the food it offers just the quality you get in these cheap places and which is in comparison with the price ok. I find this place slightly superior to the others in town. It offers a menu of 5 plates of sushi for ca. 12 Euro Dinner, 11 Euro lunch, if I remember well. You can choose the plates you like from the menu. The quantity is enough - at least for me. This if you like sushi and are content with the quality you get in a cheap place this is the place to go in freiburg."

"Perfect corner cafe in Freiburg's heart - run by friendly Mancunian expat - serving great coffee and cheesecake (tea, croissants as well from what I could see) in a small, simple and arty space. Recommended."

"We enjoyed the wide selection of different kinds of tea to match our choice of cake and sat outside enjoying the nice weather. We even returned the next day for another pot of tea and thanks to the umbrellas could remain in the fresh air...during the quick showers and could glimpse the nice park with the Colombischlössle, now an archaeological museum– and thus understood why the Colombi Hotel, which houses the Café Graf Anton, is called Colombi. Unfortunately we had to wait for servers on both our stops at the Café Graf Anton, wait for them to take our orders, wait for them to bring our cake and tea, wait for them to finally bring the bill. What we haven’t been able to figure out is who Graf Anton is there seems to have been lots of Spanish, German, and English nobility involved – so we’ll just have to come back and ask and hopefully the service will have improved by then."
