"This place is located at a crossroads, with 2 other eateries at each end, and is open from 9am.The staff are friendly and helpful, but I went here for coffee and cake and found a Pear tart, in addition to croissant (which came recommended by the staff.) so I wouldn't say they have a huge variety of cakes, but the croissant was flaky and buttery.The coffee was good, but not extraordinary, but combined with a croissant you end up paying around 3.6 euros for the set.The decor is whimsical, but relaxed with old mismatched couches, chairs and tables, you can also choose to sit outside. The walls are plastered with vintage and retro posters and you can take your pick from the selection of magazines/books on offer. I originally planned to curl up on a couch indoors and read my book, but couldn't stay here longer than 40 minutes because I don't tolerate smoke all that well, and the place filled up with a lot of it indoors."

"The zafita is a typical grazer conditories. the location close to the opera makes the local attraction. there are both good meal and very good ice cream. For the small hunger in between you can also eat small warm meals, but I have not yet tested this. the drinks especially the coffee are very good."

"We drove through graz, and we stopped here for lunch. it was one of the high points of our journey. although we did not make a reservation, we got a table, but the place was really full. so reservation is recommended. we both ordered eier benedikt. they were the best we ever had. the plates looked really good, and the aromen were fantastic. the service was nice and fast. I would definitely visit this place again if I went to graz."

"Sitting at a small terrace it is very relaxing to see all kind of people walking in the Herrengasse. Cafe Sacher has a famous reputation. But in our opinion the Graz cafe does't reach that level."

"The Green House is the old town coffee shop of the Ginko – vegetarian restaurant. In other words the Green House is a great coffee shop, a happening place for young people of this vibrant university town, Graz. This place is in one of the little passages in the old town of Graz. Here is also the patio located at. The apple pie and sour cherry-chocolate cake we had, as well as the Linzertorte, this very Austrian marmalade cake, were very delicious. The seating is comfy and the atmosphere is nice and comes with many vintage elements. There are even books to read (children’s book). The staff is nice and represents the spirit of this place. The prices are reasonable, given the location and the quality of this healthy vegetarian food at the Green House. From Graz with Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann"
