"This was the first time we visited this restaurant. We love Japanese food so our anticipation to try this restaurant was high. The food was really good but within 20 minutes of our arrival the sushi train had no plates of food on it. The...restaurant only had one guy preparing the food and he was consistently being pulled away for other tasks. Poor management"

"Ordered one coffee and two pasties (from hotbox). No warning of long wait time because of large dining group already seated. About 40 minutes to get coffee and despite reminding her of pasties, we had to go to the counter to again request these HOTBOX...items. When they arrived soon afterwards they were just like two slabs of very dry pastry. Waitresses were doing their best but clearly left without assistance or guidance. Very disappointing."

"Have stopped here many times in the past, but after today's visit, never again. Had coffee and cake. Crockery chipped, cutlery (both teaspoons dirty). Gecko poo on the window frames next to where we sat inside. Chair pads dirty and stained. Women's toilet not real...clean and floor filthy, especially behind the door. Need to lift your game!"

"Absolutely amazing pies, had the Queenslander pie which is was delicious! Always love stopping in here when we travel past to grab a pie. Parking isn’t great around the area but well worth the effort."
