"Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast today at the Village Bakery. Ordered two full English with extra mushrooms , egg and bread and butter. Asked for poached eggs and told this was no problem. Two mugs of tea brought out and not long after some bread and butter and the toast. That would be my only little criticism as the breakfasts were a good 5 minutes later which meant the toast had gone cold. Apart from that the breakfast itself was lovely, hot and not at all greasy. Will definitely visit again."

"Popped in for a coffee with the kids as my wife's shopping trip is a killer. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, takes your mind off all the bags you're carrying. Staff were nice. Just what was called for."

"Fantastic lunch, lasagne superb. Wife said her scampi was perfect. Very clean and nice friendly people. Worth the walk from Fishery creek. A big thanks after disappointment elsewhere. Cappuccino awesome"

"Generally a lovely store, pleasant experience, great staff, toilets are inadequate and often poorly serviced. Big problem with begging outside, big issue seller bleating away constantly is annoying too but there is often a guy (different one today sat with a pot for money he was so busy chatting on his mobile phone (how does he afford that? that he completely failed to acknowledge when a woman put some money in the pot, as she walked away he peered into the pot looked unimpressed and carried on chatting. I thought begging was illegal, why do we have to deal with that when we go to spend our hard earned cash, it's not right Waitrose need to address this."

"Ordered through Just Eat. McDonald’s at Larchwood missed half of my family order and the rest of the food that was delivered was stone cold. Pretty sure our Coke Zero was hotter. After phoning the branch and stating they missed my items the child manager who I’m pretty sure hasn’t grown a pair clearly stated it’s not his problem it was Just Eats. Please explain how Just Eat who only delivers the food is too blame for this?!!! All I can say is stay clear of The Larchwood McDonalds are all morons who don’t give a fudge about customer satisfaction. Tell my children why they only got half a meal and I had to pay again at a different mcdonalds."
