"As already mentioned: the vegan food is not labeled, so you need to ask what is vegan or can be veganized. And you cannot rely on Allergen information; or to the healthy sense: On our second visit we had roasted rice with vegetables and spring rolls, the Allergen list trusted that there are no eggs or milk in it and thought the owner could understand what is important for us if we asked if the saté sauce is vegan; we ended with egg in our ice-free fried rice with vegan sauce sauce. And even the dishes (probably) vegan were 't convincing: the noodles with tofu and vegetables lacked taste. The avocado and mangosalate is mostly salad with some avocado and mango pieces thrown on it. And the vegan sushi platter also seemed very exhausting, the maki rolls fell apart when they looked too intense and the tray is quite useless if you want to sit out somewhere and immerse your maki in soy sauce because it has no compartment for soy sauce. This last point may seem small, hell, the last three points ARE small, compared to get egg in a dish that does not supposed to contain an egg, especially for the demand for the spice to be vegan. I cannot recommend this place in good conscience to any vegan. And I will repeat my question: Why is this even here? Could also add any pizzeria that is willing not to put cheese on their pizza, that is just as valid."

"Small attractive hotel with attached restaurant in the heart of the old town of Heppenheim . The exterior is located directly on the historic market square with its impressive city fountain. Built in 1782, it is still property of the family and is managed by the family in 7 generation. From here you have a beautiful view of the mountain opposite the village with the castle Starkenburg and the surrounding vineyards. Many of the city's sights are also within walking distance to Dom St. Peter, outdoor stage, museum, lantern path.................. Every year in summer the gas sensations take place. Artists, comedy, magic, cabaret, street theatre, puppet play.......... different places of the old town are played, this is all free for donations, but is asked. When we are at home, it is time to get to the charming mountain road around this spectacle at least one of the 3 days of play. We are happy to go before or after dinner, so this time too. It was very windy outside this day, we could not use the beautiful outside surface of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant, old and new style elements are skillfully combined. dark wood furniture, silver tea lights and fresh flowers on the tables. The menu is quite small and offers regional dishes with products from farms and producers directly from the region, which, depending on the season from the Odenwald, trout and seedlings from the fish farm Lehmann, hand cheese and cooking cheese from the odenwälderkä cookery, switch over to the... But as we were usually on the road by car, alcohol fell in favor of juice and lemonade.
