"Something appeared before they were opened for dinner at 17.30. The boardwalk thing really helps the mood for when you go to the restaurant. Saw at the bar and was waited by a man who made my eating experience fantastic George (the bartender). Have to chat off the afternoon and enjoy some pretty daring good cheap sushi! Tip: Order You yourself som hot Sake as it connects well with sushi. Oh and Monday you can leave without a reservation, but highly recommended to make one for other days."

"We followed the GPS to this restaurant which is in an office park a little off the main road. It's a nice neighborhood but there aren't any views of the water or marshes. There was plenty of off street parking and the restaurant appeared to be handicapped accessible. We ate after the lunch hour so had immediate service with seating both outside and inside. This is a no-frills; no-nonsense diner. Customers order at the counter and food is brought to the table. Service is on styrofoam with plastic cuttlery. There are small tables inside which are adjacent to the cooking area. Not much has been done to create decoration or ambiance. I am just saying that so you know that the name, Sea Shack, should be taken literally. Now the the best part. We had the best food of our vacation at this restaurant. Not only that but the menu was more extensive than any others we had seen and included muscles, red snapper, grouper, frog legs, and all the usuals. I had the crab cakes. They were 90% crab with only enough filler to hold them together. My wife had the fried snapper. It could not have been tastier or better prepared. There are non-seafood items and choices for kids. We talked to some other diners who had blackened seafood. They said it was delicious. The prices were also a little less than most places in the area. This has got to be one of the best places around!"

"To be fair, I didn't try the Veggie sandwich. everything is vegetarian (the 4 items in the veggie menu,) but not vegan, the things can be made vegan. but everything here is differentiated. I am here with 3 not vegans and was forced to go. but yes, I wouldn't have it first. def dran mein mahlzeit lol updated by previous review on 2022-08-18"

"Had dinner last night. it took an hour to get a drink, they still try to increase a bartender. the food was delivered quickly, the server was really nice and apologized for the drink delay. steaks were good and the oysters of the Duxbury fair were the best I ever had. plump, full salt and very fresh. Hopefully they can get more personal, it's a real problem on the island."

"Meal was good. Had the blackened grouper sandwich and it was great, it was a filet versus being smaller pieces like most places do. Good bear selection and to my wife’s excitement, $3 sangrias today. Kids meals have good selection as well. Have a nice beer and cocktail menu as well."

"Here on holiday and really wanted some Asian cuisine. Yummy House has NOT disappointed!! We ordered to return to the room, but her buffet looked amazing, full and fresh. They also had exceptional customer service and we appreciate the great meal! Yummy House is added to our favorite place to eat on the island!"

"Limited menu choice mussels bland only one choice of soup mackerel overcooked dry only small selection of salads no Darjeeling tea only few desert selections limited choice of breads mostly small tasteless dry buns poor ambience from greeters to person sitting us Christmas music constantly consistently playing then stopping poorest value for two people tax tip not included could have got better value at Holiday inn menu uninspiring will not return and wonât recommend"
