"Veggie and vegan food difficult to come by in Hiroshima. This Indian place was a welcome change and great for me as a veggie with a meat allergy (Indian people mostly brilliant with food separation and hygiene), and for my partner who eats everything. We each had a thali, mine vegetarian. We both asked for hot and very hot for our two curries, as coming from Yorkshire, UK where we have large South Asian migrant communities and fantastic spicy food options. We weren’t disappointed. Substantial meal set, so much flavour, and heat matched to the level we’d asked for. So, trust in their heat scale when you order! Friendly staff, good beer, amazing lassi, would highly recommend for anyone seeking a flavour hit whilst visiting Hiroshima. Updated from previous review on 2023-06-19"

"The staff was friendly and they were talkative. They help you choose the best drink through conversation, so you don’t have to choose which drink you exactly want to have. You can enjoy drinking only by yourself, talking to the staff or having fun with your friends. The drink is around 1,000 yen for each, so you might feel it is pricier than other bars. However, I guarantee that it’s worth paying."

"I have been living in japan for about two and a half years, and it is hard to believe, but that was my first vegan udon outside of home. they have marked a digital menu with the Veg options. the broth for the vegan udon is completely plant-based and they can easily remove the egg from the few vegetarian options to make this fully vegan. the staff was so friendly and friendly and told us that they have plans to make the menu even more vegan friendly! I had the kitsune udon, and my man had the yamakake udon without a. they were both excellent! we hope that during this short trip to hiroshima we can come back and try some of their other vegan dishes! update: we went back the next day and had the tantan udon with soy milk and some fried kartoffels. incredible! the suppe of udon was rich and creamy and so full of taste! the fried potato were crispy outside and soft inside. perfect comfort food! updated by the previous review on 2021-05-14"

"Enough to find this place. True to other reviews, great staff and food. The server was very attentive and checked my order twice to make sure everything was correct. He even corrected my tea when I apparently ordered the wrong one, and he quickly checked to change it. Many choices and able to feed all four of our pickiness taste."

"Sugoi. Subarashii. Words cannot describe what an experience this restaurant gave to my fiancé and me. The 3 Michelin Star description is exceptional cuisine, worth a special trip. That's exactly how the course went. We are from Canada and have been engaged and this experience strengthens an already incredible experience. The 3 (Non-Koch) staff at the restaurant were all so attentive, asking all night whether we needed anything, fill our tea or water without asking us, explain the dishes and the coating for us. The head server (segnet her heart) spoke a little English, and made an incredible work that felt welcome and kept paced. The entrance is an unreliable door that opens into an incredibly cured and designed wooden interior with the panels and wood carvings on the display. The lighting is bright, but gentle to not be unpleasant. The food will be above all from the cook that is so busy checking the back kitchen, starting on the next course, etc. The staff will wait until you have completed your course before you remove and re-set your place set for the next course. The whole process from the beginning to the end was an artwork, and the focus of the cook was noticeable. Some reviews said that the cook 't nice, was rude, etc., but he concentrated only on his art form. In the end, when the courses were finished, the cook was busy cleaning the counters and the back kitchen, but you can say he relaxed a lot and was more interactive. The food was so good. That's all I can say. Place the depth of taste, order, texture. W. O. W. The menu is almost funny that there is such a simple description of each course if the actual story, work and effort could probably be written behind it until a novel AND the menu changes constantly. You can tell the boss, and the staff is proud to work there and they should be. Finally, you will even get a souvenir from the restaurant made by Chef's father who has a hobby with painting. What added a more personal note. You have to go there when you're in the Hiroshima area. Make sure to book well in advance!"

"I spent hours deciding where to eat Hiroshima Okinimiyaki. I'm glad I chose here. You can't speak much English, but they have a simple English menu, that's all you need. Okinimiyaki should be easy! The staff is super friendly, especially if you welcome them with a little Japanese. I ordered and asked to take pictures in Japanese that they were impressed and great. You invited me to take some great moments while cooking what I appreciated. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone who travels to Hiroshima. One of the best Okinimiyaki I've ever had!"
