"We arrived at 2:15, they close at 2:30. They still seated and served us lunch. Our server did not skimp on service either. The tomato basil soup is just so delicious. Perfectly made. Nice thickness, a buttery yet tomato yummy. Not acidic, and nicely seasoned with the basil. Highly recommend. I didn't take a picture- because I ate it. The price is on par with our are. Full sandwich with soup (or salad, fries, Mac salad or potato salad) for $16.00. With all those avocados? Yes- Paines Clubis delicious."

"All in all, it 's a good spot for dinner. Cool atmosphere: The dining area is connected to "Ye Olde English Inn. "I had the steak frites. It was a flavorful meal, and the fries were also great. Fresh chopped garlic was a nice touch. The meal could use a vegetable included as part of the default order.A couple of things could improve the experience. They don 't take reservations, which was too bad, especially for larger parties (ours had 8). Even though we called earlier in the day and knew exactly when we would arrive, it didn 't matter. We still had about a 40-minute wait to be seated.They could also use a kids ' menu! They had kids items, but they weren 't listed on the menu, so we had to specially ask for them.Our server was polite and as prompt as she could be, given the busyness of the evening we were there.Kid-friendliness: They could also use a kids ' menu! "After a long 's day hike Pinnacles National Park, my crew and I were craving some good food. Naturally on our way back home we stopped by Hollister and came upon To Pho.As is one of my favorite dishes on any Vietnamese restaurant 's menu, I ordered the Chilly Lemongrass Beef Noodle Dish which was essentially a lemongrass beef with vermicelli. I was sadly underwhelmed with this dish, because I could barely tasted the lemongrass. It wasn 't a type of lemongrass beef/pork/chicken dish that I 'd had before because this dish was more saucy which caught me off guard. Tasting the dishes of the rest of my friends, I realized that the preparation of the meats at To Pho were very standardized. The meats had glossy finishes and depended on their sauces to have flavor instead of flavor actually being incorporated into the meat.While I enjoyed the staff and of course the location being in the center of downtown Hollister, I was not impressed by To Pho.As always take care and happy eating!"

"The old blonde bartender is a terrible bartender/server. My first experience here and it was not pleasant. She called me racist names and insulted our party because someone accidentally spilled the drink on the bar. As a bartender, her job was to clean it up and not insult the patrons. Moreso, they shouldn't assault someone by putting their hands on them when they aren't even in the establishment. Unprofessional, lazy, rude and just deplorable. There are better places with better clientele and setting. I'd avoid this place like the plague. I worked in the service industry for 10+ years and have nothing but respect for hospitality workers. This person was not a hospitality worker in the least. She seemed annoyed that she was even employed. Maybe management should fix that and let her go. I'm contemplating filing a police report due to the assault I experienced. In short, go elsewhere."
