"Wanted to have some thai food while visiting Joshua Tree with my boyfriend who had never had that food before and based on the 4 star rating on yelp i was under the assumption this would be a great spot for us to try... unfortunately it was far from even being considered decent due to the fact that the restaurant was freezing inside even a pregnant customer was complaining about how cold it was! on top of that we experienced seriously the worst customer service EVER !! which we received by an older woman (maybe an owner) who rushed us to make a decision on the order and by applying so much pressure i chose to ask her what she recommends which she was zero help with. then when i told her we wanted to take our order to go she acted surprised and took a man 's order who i assume was a regular customer and then she charged us for our meal afterwards. when i asked if we could add an appetizer to our order she said no they don 't make fried food anymore because the restaurant is closing soon but it 's 6:30pm and it says online this place closes at 9:00pm so i am confused how its closing down the kitchen for the night 2.5 hours before the posted hours of operation. oh and the cherry on top was when the lady who took my order said something to the liking of you ordered a lot of food ok my bad that i wanted to try out your food while on vacation... my guess is this is a front and not an actual business. if you want to eat somewhere where the customer service is worth your time, energy and money i highly recommend driving down the road to CROSSROADS CAFE where the staff are friendly and when you need help deciding what to order they give you their honest recommendations and they don 't hurry you through the process."

"Best club sandwich ever! The service is just as good. Waitress Debbie provided exemplary hospitality with a smile. I had the awesome Classic Club w/fries the thick slices of homemade turkey and perfect bacon were as good as it gets and will satisfy any club craving. Everyone else at our table got breakfast and we’re just as pleased. GREAT EXPERIENCE! :"

"From the unassuming front to the passionate owner and staff, 8 Star Cafe was a pleasant surprise for my girlfriend and I while we vacationed in Palm Springs and came up to Yucca Valley for some stargazing. It's the only Korean restaurant in the area and the area is blessed to have it. We had the bibimbap and the galbi plate which came with SIX side dishes consisting of napa, radish, cucumber, seaweed kimchis, seasoned bean sprouts, and marinated eggplant. The food itself was delicious and comparable to popular Korean restaurants near LA and given in hearty portions that will ensure you are full. The owner and staff make sure to put care into your meal and it shows in the final product and with their service as they will make you feel at home in their cozy restaurant as they tell you snippets of their life story and how they got here in the desert serving Korean food. It was an amazing experience and you should give it a shot if you are in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking"
