"The entree of heirloom tomatoes with goats’ cheese was drenched in balsamic and it was hard to detect the scanty amount of cheese, while the sea bream main had too many conflicting flavours on the plate. Dessert was the saving grace with a raspberry dome being done by a professional. It was very good, as were the totally professional staff. We noted when we entered the restaurant that although it was just opened there was a considerable amount of food on the floor, presumably left over from earlier in the day."

"Chose the tourist menu which is really good value for money (3 courses plus a cheese course) but the standard of food was excellent. Last visited 8 years ago the standard was still good but the whole hotel needed some 'love and updating,' since then an English family have taken it on lifted the decor to a high standard and the food even higher - so good we went twice in our 3 day visit."
