"Yesterday afternoon tee with mama for mothers day. that was my first visit and we both loved him! sandwiches were delish, cakes were to die and tee was also beautiful as the presentation. good 15 pfund for two. really nice decor, loads of natural light, good service by friendly staff. only that was that our first cup was just in the cup, so it went quite quickly cold. hearing the great table next to us, they say the same about theirs. but we have asked for a pot for the next, and that was fab and toasty hot so really not a big problem considering how fab was everything else. we will definitely try again, more from their menu. all the best xxx"

"A nice branch of the infamous Bourke Street Bakery. Situated on a quiet street off Victoria Road, most people take out bread or pastries but you can also sit down and enjoy any of their fine pastries or cakes with a cup of tea coffee. Personally, I love their fig sourdough and all their sausage rolls. If you're in the area, well worth the visit."

"An expensive hotel!!! where the booking did not go smoothly. Rooms are austere with curtains hanging half off the rails. Our daughter-in-law had a bad mattress. There was no key for the connecting door. After a long time of nagging and pulling, we were given a key that we had to return if we were not in the room. Menu was extremely sparse. No choice at all for vegetarians. Initially we were supposed to eat there but we quickly canceled that. Bathroom didn't last either. Sparse with towels and flimsy disposable cups. No locker. No refrigerator. All very scanty. Oh yes, and what about one teaspoon for two people? It was uncomfortably hot in the rooms. Radiators were on in the middle of summer. I took the comforters out of their covers. In short, we paid way too much for a basic hotel with pretensions."
