"The luce is the italian influenced restaurant of the radisson blu hotel in luzern. its one of the few restaurants i know where there is a lot of space between the tables so you can even discuss privat stuff without bothering your neighbor tables. the...food is of good quality and the winelist is well assorted with italian and international wines. the staff is authentic and friendly and the ambiance nice and quiet. over all a nice place to dine and talk. i come back!"

"We (3 persons) had a late lunch at Des Balances. We enjoyed very much having lunch on the beutifully located terrace, just at the border of the river Reuss. The lunch was absolutely delicious and is at a comparatively good price for the quality and location. Service is very attentive and friendly. There were many wasps which also wanted their share of our lunch but the staff was very helpful. They sprayed some organic orange oil on the table cloth and provided us with small sprays which contained mineral water which finally helped to defend against the hungry wasps. So the wasps were not killed just chased away. We can really recommed Des Balances!"

"Das Essen ist so lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Mezze und allesamt waren sie super gut. Da das Restaurant sehr klein ist, ist eine Reservierung von Vorteil. Das einzige Manko ist, dass man nur Bar bezahlen kann."

"Wonderful room, wonderful staff always very nice and helpful! Very next to the lake and in the city center, very calm although. The only complain, and I understand it is not possible: unfortunately it is not at all a place for people with physical problems, the only lift is after a long stairs, and then when it arrives you need to go upstairs or downstairs again to get to your room. But everything was very nice!"

"Let’s start with the positive. Arrived at the restaurant after a short walk from Lucerne train station and was greeted by great ambience. Also spotted a 2019 Michelin badge and thought to myself all off to a good start. Most positive aspects pretty much ended...there. Food was mediocre and particularly the tom yam which we ordered lacked balance and tasted like seasoning powder reminiscent of some mama instant noodles. To make things worse, the full swing bad service was the highlight of the night. We had a rude service crew attending to us throughout the whole night which I will not get into the details. For the price on the menu, this is no way to treat your customers. Barring the food quality and service standards, my night’s craving for Thai food could possibly had a better fix at that random Thai food kiosk in the train station."
