"Today my mum, aunty and I enjoyed lunch at The Tea Coffee Merchant in Mandurah. Located along the foreshore, this cafe boasts the most amazingly uninterrupted view of the estuary and even on a miserable day like today makes you smile! With a view as captivating as this, we were expecting the prices to be much higher but were pleasantly surprised that most meals ranged between $12 and $19."

"In regards to service, I agree with the others the service is excellent, the food however, not so much. The price isn't remarkable, I would probably get much more for my money in any Chinese restaurant in the area. For $16 I got a quarter of small chicken tossed in a marinade and literally 2 table spoons of cooked rice. My wife ordered Special Fried Rice that was for $22 and trust me there was nothing special about it. She threw 3/4 of that away as she said it was uneatable! Guys, your food is terrible!!! My chicken was spicy, but did not have a taste. It also seemed to me that every possible bone from the entire chicken was in my meal. I was basically choking on a bone with every bite. In fact I collected pretty significant container of bones including a neck, brrrrrrr!!!!! For past month we have visited at least a dozen Asian restaurants and this one seems to be the worst. Sorry guys, your warm welcome doesn't cut it! I won't dine in there ever again."

"Went for a Christmas lunch prawn cocktail was very tasty but main dish of turkey was very disappointing although sauce was lovely the vegetables were very inconsistent in size so cooked unevenly and not very pleasant at all"

"Went to Silks with my sister and brother in-law for dinner on a Saturday night. It was about 7:30pm and we had no booking but luckily they have enclosed their outside area and they had a spare table. We ordered three meals - drunkard noodles, cashew nuts with chicken and garlic and pepper I think it was. They were all delicious. We have been there three or four times before and would recommend it to anyone that comes to Mandurah. Great service by the wait staff as well. We have ordered take away on another night and it is just as good as dining in."

"The place looks a bit down and I felt that $4 for a child icecream cone was pretty high. However, there were other items that were fantastic worth as their breakfast and hot dogs. only not what we had at that time."

"Hi all, so this place is massive! Service was good considering we were in a group of 24. I had the salt n pepper squid. It was a bit chewy because the skin was left on. Im not sure about the skin, i havent seen this before! Not a bad selection of beers on tap(im on beez neez) a few more would be better! The quality of meals i have seen come out were pretty good the steaks were cooked to peoples liking! The atmosphere is great! Alround good spot!"
