"I am sorry to say that my last visit to the Marulan Bake House was extremely disappointing. When I asked for Sencha Green tea (tea bag in a cup of hot water) the assitant asked me if I wanted milk in it. I had to point out to her that you do not put milk in green tea. I also ordered a slice of banana bread. I was only able to eat half of the slice as it was dry and unappetising. For the pleasure of this underwhelming morning tea I was charge $9 50. Yes $4 50 for the tea bag and hot water and $5 for the stale banana bread. I expect to pay these prices for a pot of tea made with tea leaves and a nice fresh piece of cake in Sydney but I find it hard to see how the village bakers can justify charging these prices for something so second rate."

"They somehow managed to replace a dated but functional restaurant with a small kiosk in a food dish that is infinitely worse. only 3 ordnenskioskens that are at the theke, the masses in contrast to in the free wall space next to and nowhere to stand or wait when they have ordered. oh and also painfully slow. I made a serious mistake oh, and that's not the coworkers' fault. they did the best they could with the terrible hand they were treated by the people who designed it and approved this monstrosity"

"A historic hotel serving delicious meals in an old style setting. The fire place in the dining area was real and large. Our family of four enjoyed the meals we selected. Bought 3 mains for the four of us and just managed to finish them....The pub wasn't busy when we went, but it was well worth a visit for dinner. The public bar is on the other side of the central servery, so the dining area was suitable for kids."
